Yes, absolutely. I’ve been able to maintain a steady 1-2 times a week. Really nice complement to the heavy KB work. Probably should go more often, to be honest, but it’s a big time commitment, tough to go during the week. My GF is here for a few weeks so I will go with her after work when possible, but when I’m here by myself it’s usually just a Saturday or Sunday-morning thing for me.
Friday 6/5 (AM)
Dumbbell Circuit (45 Minutes)
In Dallas for a buddy’s wedding. Quick workout in the hotel gym - I did a bunch of assorted stuff (raises, curls, etc) with single 50-pound dumbbell clean and presses in between each.

What’s up AG,
Thought I’d drop in. I admire the consistency over time, good work!
I’ll try to check in and keep up - I’m making an effort to get back into this forum a little bit.

Serge, good to hear from you man. Glad to have you back. Incidentally, I’ve been doing little in the forum but keeping my log up to date, as my new job has kept me quite busy. (This is a good thing, by the way, because it means I’m more engaged in my work - in my last job, I had started to unplug a little because I felt the overall quality/leverage of the research we were doing was very blah). Anyways, good for my life, bad for my forum productivity, haha.
Training-wise I am quite pleased. At times like this - an especially busy week, AHA abstract submissions are right around the corner and lots of people need their stuff done pronto - I have been simplifying to a very caveman-esque approach of a straightforward workout that’s nothing but clean and pressing my 88-pound kettlebell for 12-20 sets of 2 reps (one rep with each hand), approximately EMOM.
I also have been stalling on a fresh physique pic but should post one soon. I actually think I’m doing OK (by my standards) in this department, although carrying a little more overall poundage than I would like.
