Old-school workout at home with dad today. My dear old dad, pushing 60 years old, still lifts a couple days a week (and does yoga with my mom). The whole family (mom, dad, GF, and me) went to yoga together this morning; then dad asked if I wanted to do some pressing in the afternoon, and of course I obliged. Been a few months since I got to do that with him, but it’s always a great throwback to my teenage years when Dad was teaching me to lift and I thought he was Superman. He’s no Sly Stallone, but he’s still got some muscle in his old age and remains dedicated to pressing and squatting at least twice a week.

Hard to say as yet - it seems like a lot of pullups but I really haven’t been doing this all that long or regularly. I think my lats are a little wider and my upper abs are a little fuller, but that could be that I’m just looking harder for it. I’m hoping to keep with the bike-to-work-and-do-pullups-en-route thing 2-3 times a week all summer. Will keep posted.

One of these days I’ll post some pics, too.
