Here is a list and a description of what is in the Stimulus.

It would be comical if it wasn’t the public’s money being spent.

Yet his link says:

These projects are not part of the stimulus bill. They are candidates for funding by federal grant programs once the bill passes. Learn more by reading the FAQs

First paragraph mate.
4th FAQ sport:

 1. How do these projects fit in with the stimulus bill?

It is expected that the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will be signed by the President on February 16. That legislation won’t list the projects to be funded. Instead, it will appropriate money for federal grant programs, such as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) or Surface Transportation Program, which will then use the appropriated stimulus money to make grants to cities. In the case of CDBG, for example, the Department of Housing and Urban Development will be the agency that will decide (using a formula) which of the projects requested by the mayors will be funded.

That said, the funding Congress approves for these programs, and thus how much money cities will actually receive for their projects, may exceed or fall short of the mayors’ suggestions. This means that not every project requested by the mayors will be funded. And that is why it’s important for citizens to register their opinions on which projects they believe are critical and which are not. By the same token, it is also likely that many projects not yet proposed by localities (and thus not listed on this site) will receive funding via federal programs.

Do you two actually just assume nobody pays attention anymore? I know the ruling troika believes that (Obama, Reid, Pelosi) but not everyone has just given up.

Take the blinders off. It’s actually a pro-stimulus site that’s trying to rank the projects by importance. Most people don’t blindly believe that the Obama administration has our best interest at heart. Even some of the less radical moonbats. Do you think private industry is paying for this crap? Do you have any idea how spending and appropriations work?

The Democrats own this now, much like the housing crisis. Nobody left to blame. Hopefully they don’t take the country down with them.

Interesting to see how poeple get so offended on where you get your news. It is wise to read/research multiple sources before you make you final opinion. Some folks may not like Newmax or Rush or Fox; while others may not like CBS or the Boston Globe. Each side will slant things to their own perspective.

We will likely never know where all of these funds exactly go, sadly. But I think it is safe to say that to much of this money will end up in special interest groups that will do NOTHING to stimulate our economy.

You are, apparently, confusing yourself.
You said:
Here is a list and a description of what is in the Stimulus.
The site specifically said, in the first paragraph
These projects are not part of the stimulus bill.
This is just a massive give away. It’s not even close to being a ‘stimulus’ (whatever that is). It took the liberals one month to package all of their pet projects into a bill and shove it down our collective throats. It’s just more proof that party matters more than country these days. This bill endangers the future of our nation. But, it’s politically expedient…so…what the fuck!..let’s do it!

ProwlCat vs. Nearly All Economists of any credibility.

I’ll take the economists.

And to be clear, the Title of the thread has been debunked already.
