Acai Berry?

Has anyone ever heard of this supposed miracle fruit. I have a coworker selling MonaVie which is liquid Acai that purports to increase energy, cure cancer and make a body lean

I am very skeptical as he wants set up people to distribute it and claims people make $20,000 a month selling such products.

I dont want bash his gig but I like my job and just want to know if it is worth using

I tried the Bossa Nova acai juice for a little bit. It tasted ok, but it costs way too much to be a regular staple in my diet (about $3 per 12oz. bottle). I’ll stick with a greens supplement instead.

I’ve had several different versions/products that contain Acai…

I like the taste of it, BUT…

from my personal experience, the claims are nuts, and I would never get involved selling it.

To me it’s another healthy drink, but it IS expensive…so I usually only have about 1 bottle per week…and that’s just cause it tastes good (to me).

It’s a common and popular fruit in Brazil, where you can find juices, popsicles, icecream, etc made from it. It’s like oranges here in the US.

Do note that Brazilians still get cancer and die of old age, so maybe it’s not that miraculous.

It might help you with your soccer skills though…

I’ve looked at the fruit and I can’t see it as being any better than Blueberries and Strawberries.

Forget the hype.
