This, and,
Most would likely be extraordinarily surprised about his PED history, especially in the “Sock it to me” thread. He is really a genetic freak of EPIC proportions.
If only we could get KingBeef down the same road. . .
Well good luck to him. Seems to be the real deal. Has great genetics and has the work ethic to utilize those genetics. With those kind of genetics I think most of us would take it as far as we could.
That pic of him at 17 is insane. You can see vascularity and a there is shape to his small frame there that most people just don’t have regardless of size.

Oh calm down bro. I’m not saying that vascularity is always a sign of great genetics but look at his trap area. Even with a shirt on, weighing next to nothing he looks better than most guys would at his size there.

I dont understand what the issue is. If he didn’t have one in a million genetics he wouldn’t be at the stage he is now. This doesn’t take anything away from him. He’s obviously made sacrifices in life that most people wouldn’t.

Been reading the boards on and off since '07 and this is all I ever read. Seems like most of the good posters are still here.

He already added so much size since turning pro…

Really he hope he decides to just compete in the open instead of the 212. Considering how few 212 shows are even being held this year that division does not seem long for this world anyway. Really want to see how he would stack up against the open guys. I think he could win an open show if he picks the right show and getting the Olympia qualification right out the gate will no doubt land him a sponsorship.

How does he fit through that door? His lats must get stuck lol
Mentzer once said that you won’t know your genetic limits until you truly hit them while trying to go past them. Aaron is gifted, no doubt, and saying that does not discount in the slightest the amount of work he put in to nab that Pro Card. Whether this was actually evident from the few pre-training pics we’ve seen is questionable, although you’d get a definitive no out of me.
Look at Phil Heath for a moment. We always see his pre-training pics from his college days playing basketball. Sure, the guy was pretty thick for a relatively short ball player, but for someone not focusing on hypertrophy specific training, it was impressive and might convey an inkling of what could be possible should he change his goal.
Phil made several big jumps since then. From ball player to bodybuilder. From first contest to Pro card win. From Pro to his 2nd place Olympia finish, and From 2nd place to Mr. Olympia. That doesn’t mean anyone with genetics enough to turn Pro will be guaranteed such dramatic improvements. Of course if you look at the best of the best, considering names like Coleman, Yates, even Cutler, they’ve all experienced ‘jumps’ after turning pro. (You can argue amongst yourselves the reasons for such dramatic leaps in progress)
With the amazing improvement Aaron has made since his ‘early’ days (hell, he’s only 23 now! -lol), I have no doubt that he’s going to step it up and drop some jaws when he gets back on the dais.
i know muscle size is limited by genetics etc… but you would think that an individual would be able to keeping using more and more synthol to stretch and stretch their fascia out repeatedly, filling the gap with new muscle after the oil disperses… until the reach the desired size…
it would be a lengthy and painful process, not to mention expensive… but i wonder if it’s possible…
that would take the wind out of anyone’s “awesome genetics”… though he does have great shape and roundness to his muscles
