Touching whose musical number? We’re dropping euphemisms now?
Crazy Southern Boys. Hmm…

All Hail Christ the King.
Happy Easter everyone.
Happy Easter, big man.
That looks like Byzantine-era art, which reminds me to pull up pictures from the Church of St. Savior in Turkey. I will try to post the one of the gold mosaic of Christ, which I believe is the largest in the world that’s still preserved; felt very surreal to see something that old, that had been covered up for so long. Like a Da Vinci Code discovery.
Are you orthodox Christian?
I’m sure Pete’s got you set up nicely with the shoulder rehab.
Funny about the Coan program (which I am running with some tweaks as well right now). My coach looked it over and said: “That looks pretty easy.”
Didnt eat enough today and feel like crud. Training started rough but I raged through it and ended up doin alright.

No mam, Roman Catholic, but I have a great appreciation for Orthodox art and culture.
What he has had me doing has helped a ton.
Haha did he say that now? I prob just need to get better at repping pulls, thats the worst part to me.
Session looks funzies.
That is awesome news about your shoulder!!! Glad to hear it’s only strained.
Those MRI machines are lame and loud as hell! I had to get a few MRI’s and a MRA before my surgery and it sucked balls. (same as an MRI except before hand they inject a dye into your shoulder socket. The doc had the needle point against my bone using the “grind it till you find it” method of finding the socket joint… Terrible)
Happy Belated Easter as well big man. Did you gorge yourself on some honey baked ham? You look like a man that enjoys himself some good ham now and again?
Damn fine session man, glad to hear your shoulder’s handling some work too. Always awesome when you can power through a crappy feeling start and end strong.

Per your dr: my instructions are: two weeks of no heavy “above the shoulder lifts” i.e. military press, incline, db press, etc, then after two weeks ease back into it, then start killing it again.
Are you not listening to your dr? Inclines = above the shoulder lift…be good !!!
MiM - well I dont know about shapely, but they get sore, if that counts for anything
Ink - eh, I may have added that part, the core was his advice though
LilPower - doing the skull crushers at an incline actually feels easier on my shoulders, much easier than lying flat on my back…as to the hammer strength incline, I dont feel it in my shoulders like I do with a barbell…so i am being good-ish? I will do better mam ![]()
Nice pulls.
I’ll echo the sentiment of be careful with the shoulder. Try some cable or mini band internal/external rotations for the rotator cuff, if you aren’t already doing some. Keep it light, high reps. You’ll be back soon, don’t push it too early.
