Goals:
Get leaner. Be a fit strong father. Complete Simplefit level 8 in 10 mins or so.
I’m also drawn to Wendler WALRUS type stuff and burpees and seals etc. Really like the simplicity of these.
Biggest inspirations are Cheapo from Simplefit, Wendler, then some of the burpee guys. Cheers.

L8D3 - 14.05.
Pants result. About 3 mins slower than my best before but then in my defense, I was on 4 hours sleep and had done 60 or so burpees before this.
I might go back to level 7 just to make sure I’m training on the right level.
20 minutes seals - 74 reps I think.
Again a bit pants but in my defense I’m on holiday and drank 2 pints of cider 90 minutes before hand, plus a pub meal!
Been chatting to my wife a bit this morn about losing some kgs of flub.
Paleo easque approaches just dont seen feasible now or sustainable given we all eat as a family (have young kids).
I’ve used fasting a lot in the past, and when I had a manial job I could lose weight dramitically using this method. But again now, doesnt seem to make much difference.
Ultimately I have to suck it up and start calorie counting. Always mentally struggled with this type of approach.
20 minutes burpees.
Only managed 187 reps. Got nothing on beasts here, which is a bit demotivating tbh!
Need to get back to training SF more.

@wanna_be mate burpees bring the gainage. This is a hard pill for people to swallow

Don’t beat yourself up @Simplefitter brother.
Most people in the planet couldn’t get near that number in a day never mind 20 minutes

Haha perhaps I should stick with burpee and seals for now. Focus on the burpee gains for a while. Only thing lacking is pulling volume. Probs not great on the shoulders.
My intial goal has been to hit 50 pullups,100 pushups, 100 squats all in a 10 min time frame. Its more akin to Wendlers Walrus stuff really, though I imagine burpees can only help in this!

How the hell did Max hit like 120 of these.
L8D3 - 11.49
This time completed on doorway pullup bar instead of scaffolding bar, which meant I could fo chins and neutral grip chins instead, which are a bit easier.
I reckon I could have gone quicker on pushuls if arms not tired from yesterday. So this is promising.

Awful. So bushed mentally this week, maybe thats the reason. Plus cutting calories…
