What constitutes a real man? What characteristics, traits, or attributes separates a real man from all those wanna be’s? I’m not talking about how much someone can lift or how many beers they can drink. I mean a true man. I will start off-
A real man cares for his family more than himself.
A real man doesn’t treat his wife like every other woman he knows.

depends on what a man is. If he is the outcome of random mutations that favor survivability in a given environment then the definition of a real man is going to be largely determined by what promotes survivability in that environment, (meaning it is ultimately culturally relative) dig deeper in that worldview and the question becomes silly, kind of like asking what makes a “real” frog. If a man is a being that is here on purpose then you would have to go to the cause of his being here to find out…

It means just what it says. I work with a lot of women, but while I give them respect as co-workers, I treat my wife with a higher regard than them. My wife is not just every other woman I come in contact with. She deserves more.
My woman would slap me so hard if she saw the saucy way I speak to some of my female coworkers. I really should stop…but some of them are so bloody adorable.

Ok. I asked because I’ve seen the exact opposite quite a bit. Where a guy has no respect for women in general, and thinks his wife/gf are exceptionally stupid and useless among other things.
