Some showhost is kissing little girls on TV and that is apparently superunappropriate today.
We have a similar gameshow in Germany, where little boys and girls sing songs or so.
I believe it’s popular, especially with grannys and motherly type chicks.
The thing is, I’m not big on children, I rather teach them something then cuddle them. But even I understand that for many people, children are the epitome of cuteness. Isn’t that kinda natural?

To be honest, in most cases, I would actually agree with you, and my ideas are probably more liberal than most Americans’ in this regard. However, what I saw here was a little more than a cultural difference in displays of affection. Persisting despite a child’s protestations in an act that appears to make her uncomfortable…you’d sure as shit better not try and pull that on my kid if I’m anywhere near.
