Stength4life, didn’t he put the fella in your avatar in the new Friday? He did! At least someone is giving those CW kids some work…
And the movie was a good remake. Anyone who says it sucks must not have seen the original. The Winchester Brother did a decent job as well even though him being there made it feel like an episode of Supernatural.

I’ve liked all the classic remakes, I haven’t seen the second Rob Zombie Halloween but the first one kicked ass, Friday the 13th was good, Texas Chainsaw massacre was good too. Maybe I just want all of them to be good because they were the movies I grew up on but I liked them. I’ll likely watch this on DVD but will watch it.
CORRECTION WHITEFLASH: Jason was in the original, briefly at the end. He was the retarded boy in the water…I always thought Corky from Life Goes On, would’ve made and excellent first Jason…
On a side note, did anyone ever see that episode of Life Goes On, the Halloween episode?
Corky dresses up like the Phantom of the Opera, gets a dance with a hot girl, finally she takes his mask off and begins to scream…
He runs away to the bathroom screaming about how no one will ever love him and how he’s a monster…COMEDY GOLD!

No shit (until the end of the movie)…and this one started with the mother and made the classic story very relevant. No one would go to a friday the 13th movie done today without Jason in it.

I meant as the main “monster”. I like that you pointed out that “he was the retarded boy in the water”, haha. Prof, I got what you were saying just bustin’ your chops. I think of all the recent remakes this has the potential to be the best, I just don’t want Bay to fuck this up. Guess it could be worse, Rob Zombie could be doin’ it…

He was in a clip at the very end… it was dream, but he was in it as a boy.

Ruggerlife, I think me and you are the only dream warriors here!
Just so you know, all of you dream warriors got murdered by the dream master in the next movie.
That was my favourite part of the Elm St. series. Other than 2, the survivor of 1 died in 3, then survivor of 3 died in 4, etc… I can’t remember when (or if) they broke that cycle.
