A New Mortal Kombat?

Not long ago, the movie was scheduled for 2011 and up until now, there seemed to be talk about a lot of the original 1995 cast returning. But it’s been rumoured since the 90’s it seems and the original cast is pushing their 50’s so it’s getting a little late.

The clip makes me cling to the 90’s. Back when you could actually tell what’s going on without night vision goggles and all the moves were clearly discernible.

HOOOOOOOLY SHIT YES!

scorpion and Jax were always my favorite characters to play. This is going to be amazing.

FUUUUUUUUCK YES!

That looks sick! And Michael Jai White is the shit.

Hate to burst your bubble guys but this is simply a movie pitch, it’s not 100% this movie will be made. However there is a new Mortal Kombat movie in the works, just not the one you guys see in this video.

NOOOO

this looks like it will do it justice. MK was such a bloody game and if I remember the first movie had a PG13 rating (to appeal to it’s audience in it’s defense) but then there was only one drop of blood on one guys lip which wasn’t at all like the game.

“Get Over Here!”
hope the film does stick with the plot in the trailer

no zach efron or rob patterson either, yet lol

Yeah, and I get really tired of every scene in every movie being shot through colored filters (or however they do it). I’d love to watch a film that isn’t just a blue scene followed by a green scene, etc…

Exactly, the game was very controversial and edgy, the movie should be the same exact way. This movie needs to be rated R.

I watched the trailer this morning while eating breakfast. I had to stop at the Harlequin baby part.

Something tells me this is gonna play into the reboot of the Mortal Kombat games. Did anyone else notice that Baraka is the dude from Ong Bak who did capoeira?

Its not necessarily supposed to be a trailer but a preview for the Mortal Kombat franchise. Meaning movies and/or video games…

Well thats what I read on the internet so you should probably assume 100% accuracy of that statement.
