A Game of Thrones (Trailer)

Oh, and my guess for who will sit upon the Iron Throne when the series is done? A Stark befitting it no doubt![/quote]

I just don’t know why it took 3 years for me to put that Stark—>Iron Throne—>Iron Man—> Tony Stark thing together!

Just going to leave this here.

About to finish AFFC… just want to say this.
I hate Catelyn, and Cersei.

That’s all.

Youre far from the first. I am almost certain that Sir Robert Strong is the Mountain that Rides.

Honestly cannot think of anyone else who would fit.

A dead mountain without a head… wasn’t Balon Swan sent to Dorne to give his head to the Martells ?

And no doubt Zombie Gregor will be finished off by Sandor reborn again. Cause you don’t go 5 books creating this enormous “my brother is my arch-enemy” thing without making a big showdown out of it.

Yeah I kinda wonder how that will work out. There seemed something fishy about that head that they sent…but there does seem to be some necromancy-like shit going on, perhaps someone else’s head?

You know, I almost missed that that guy was Sandor when I read that chapter. The new “hero Sandor” could be very interesting to read about.

Ill bet you money the head was fake or someone else. The Mountain never died, not completely at least.

Though with the return of magic/dragons, is necromancy that far out there?

There’s already been Necromancy with Caitlin Stark and Dondarrion sub-plots … It’s already been established that it’s possible

Yep, the dead walk up above the wall, so it wouldn’t be THAT surprising if they did below the wall as well… that said, I’m guessing that the Mountain never “fully” died… but who knows?

Who here thinks Snow is the “third head of the dragon ?”

Of course he is. He is half Targaryen after all. Or at least that’s what I’m going to believe until GRRM says otherwise.

That is the prevailing theory.

Jon is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lynna Stark

awesome, to bad ending of ADWD

KIND OF A SPOILER

Snow being a Targaryen is just too obvious, I think GRRM didn’t plan that part out too well if he wanted to keep it a mystery. Snow was already at Winterfell before Catelyn arrived which was after the rebellion, Lyanna was found in a “bed of blood” during the mid-end point of the rebellion, Rhaegar kidnapping Lyanna trigerred the Rebellion. Easy. If he isn’t a Targaryen then it makes no fucking sense for Ned to have gone all those years without never telling ANYONE, including Jon himself, about his parentage, unless with acept he was an egocentrical dude that cared way too much with his honor.

Likely he will turn out to be the prince who was promissed too and he’ll probably marry Dany.

Wait, what? So Rhaegar raped Lyanna, she had Jon (after Rhaegar was killed?), Ned covered it up saying Jon was his child, Jon Snow is Daenerys nephew but older than her and Maester Aemon is Jon’s great great great uncle AND Jon would’ve been next in line to the throne after Daenerys? wowzers.

I shouldn’t be getting involved in this conversation, I’m only up to the second book, after reading the first one about 15 years ago!

Also, Robert Baratheon would’ve probably wanted Jon Snow slain.
