Anyone have links to episodes 1-6? I’m never home when this show is on. I’d appreciate the help.
Get me that link and I’ll get you the camera that DebraD uses to take her pics.

letmewatchthis.com has them all, you dont need to sign up. Select the episode “http://www.letmewatchthis.ch/watch-1386995-Game-of-Thrones” and it will bring you to a a page with a bunch of links to the video. Only use putlocker.com links there are no pop ups and it streams instantly no buffering. If all else fails stagevu.com links are also reliable. Enjoy They also have current movies in the movie section along with every other movie under the sun, only watch the dvd versions the rest are just bad cams.
I must say that for anyone who may feel daunted (that means scared!) of big thick books with too many characters, then do not fear, these books are very well written, easy to follow and you don’t get all the characters all mixed up (I’m guessing especially not if you’ve seen some of the show and cut faces to names much easier)
I’d say it’s akin to Star Wars…no one but my sister would get say, the Millennium Falcon mixed up with Lando Calrissian.
Been watching it like religion and the GF is totally hooked. We have been talking for the last few weeks about cutting the cable. Last night we watched episode 7 and she told me that she would pay the extra coin for HBO. She also about cried when I told her that there are only 10 episodes.

There’s also the option of the Audiobooks - they’re pretty good imo.
That was a great episode- Syrio’s duel, Jon and Mormont, Tyrion and the Hill Tribes, Barristan’s “retirement”. Drogo’s fight was incredible to watch. Apparently Jason Momoa had to fight with the directors to get that scene added in because he didn’t feel that Drogo’s reputation as a fighter was real enough to the viewers.
The only casting choice I’ve really been disappointed in so far was the Greatjon. You can tell the actor was trying but it still came up a little short.
Yeah, the last episode was great. And just two more to go…
I really liked Syrio Forel, so I had to look for book spoilers to see what had really happened to him, but it seems that no one seems to know, but a line in the TV show (said in some past episode) may be the key to discover his fate.
I won’t spoil, but sounds exciting.
It sucks that there are only 2 episodes left.
Ned is toast. Guaranteed he gets executed. Fuck Joffrey and Cersei in their pompous cunts.
Robb is really coming into his own as a man and a leader, and not a moment too soon since his dad is about to get killed.
Again, it would be nice to have some idea as to how much time is passing in between scenes. This is easily the most confusing part of this show.
The best part about the last episode was Arya escaping. She’s still my favorite character.

Mine too! Too bad sometimes she gets like, half minute of screen in the entire episode.
About the show, I feel that every episode is better than the previous one, because the first episodes left me like “Well, this is lacking something…”
EP 8 seemed… Rushed.
I was hoping they’d show the girl’s struggle in more detail, esp. what she went through mentally the way it happened in the book. Really missed some of the scenes that they omitted.
She’s my fav. char as well, along with Snow.
Also thought that the acting took a bit of a hit overall tbh.
Side Note: The northern troops just get pwned too much and too often. And Ned is way too careless. I really hated that in the book and I hate it in the series.
never read the book like CC but…
Last episode was AWESOME!!!
God I hate Cersei and Joffrey. They both need to fucking die. I bet they won’t though. I haven’t read the books so I’m coming into it completely unspoiled. Shame it is such a short series but it’s better to leave people wanting more, I suppose.
The one thing that bugs me is the in’s and out’s of the dire-wolves. Why wasn’t the crippled kid’s wolf with him in the woods? When do they get to be DIREWOLVES and not skinny huskies?
Great 8th episode. I enjoyed it tremendously.
Favourite parts: Syrio’s fight to protect Arya and Drogo’s duel… no words.
I did say ‘FUCK!’, at the end of it though…
Big shame there’re only 2 episodes remaining.

Drogo is a fucking beast. Every time I see that dude I sit up and hope for some uber violence.
Show just keeps getting better and better. Waiting for the woman to finish the book so I can get a shot of it =P

The wolves killed a lot of people in that scene in the book. Apparently they’re very difficult to shoot with and require a lot of takes, which explains their scarcity on the screen. They might switch over to CGI next season.

This makes sense. I hope they don’t go CGI though. Too much of that shit these days.

How else can they do it though? When I picture ghost, I imagine a F’ing scary thing. That dog looked playful. It wasn’t even angry. The direwolves are not supposed to be lassie. …eh. I found myself hoping for cgi.
