A Diamond in the Rough?

you do not have a shit ton of muscle, the earlier you learn this the better.

4 sets of 8-10 of everything ?

that sounds like youre cycling through the cybex machines…not a good thing.

Lets hear more about your training, more specifics, and how are you progressing strength wise ?

well i actually started strength training this week. Today i did back and i did 5 x 3-6 on seated cable rows, 5 x 3-6 on Lat pull down, 5 x 3-6 on t-bar row, 5 x 3-6 on dumbbell row, and 4 x 15 on barbell shrugs. then i did some abs and calves.
but if you guys wanna know my stats are bench - 225 1rm, squat - 315 1rm, and deadlift - 275 1rm. and before i started training i was bench - 175 1rm, squat - 225 1rm, deadlift - 205 1rm[/quote]

And I’m calling BS on the numbers too. 315 squat but can’t pull more than 275? After only one week of strength training? You’re prob doing little pussy half squats anyways.

Like somebody said before, stick to the basics and damit do yourself a favor and go below parallel on the squat.

Just make sure you don’t do ATG with 315 lbs for your first attempt.

Try 225 ATG. It will feel heavy as hell out of the hole if you can only pull 275. Have a friend take a video of you on his phone or at least have him verify that your hips were below you knees. It should be OBVIOUS.

To the OP, obviously below parallel squats AKA “full squats” will greatly improve your deadlift numbers.

lol you can call BS all you want bro but i know how much i am lifting! and i am going past parallel< i go to were my hams are about an inch away from my calves. but the only reason my deadlifts suck is because i hardly ever do them. (which you dont have to tell me i already know this is bad)
