You’re forgetting I’m a machine.
No, I am not, machines break and need to be taken csre of.
Like I said it’s just a scratch.

Sorry to hear about your injuries. I wish you an expedient and full recovery. Have any gruesome pics to share with the rest of us?

This is where they cut my patella open and hammered a steel rod down through the tibia to the ankle then screwed it onto a steel plate with five screws.

This is where my left knee dislocated.

As someone in the medical field for the past 22 years and worked trauma ER for 14 of those years, sounds like they saved your life and leg.

If you are not grateful for that, well that is your issues.

All I can say as an old ER nurse is your welcome.

I hear what you’re saying and appreciate the medical care I received. The nurses who looked after me were excellent - no complaints whatsoever.

It was the doctors pal. I have nearly as much experience as you. Looked after my father with cancer for nine years and my mum for five years. You wouldn’t believe the stories I could tell you. I came in one morning to visit my mother and found her dead. Her doctor had decided upon herself to euthanise her.

The docs in my hospital told me I had no fracture in my left foot. They had me on crutches hopping on it. ‘Ah doc there’s a displaced fracture in my foot’

‘If there was a displaced fracture you wouldn’t be standing on it’ Anyway he went and got an X-ray done only he ordered an X-ray of my right foot. Next X-ray another doc ordered an X-ray of my left lower leg. I told the technicians and they called the doc. ‘He’s been complaining about pain in his left leg’ The tech returned and told me the doc was bullshitting. This I knew as I had never complained to anyone about my left leg in the six weeks I had been in hospital.

We’ll doctors can’t be wrong so I was exposed unnecessy X-rays so the doc didn’t have to admit he made a mistake. This is just the tip of the iceberg pal. But I appreciate the work you guys do.

Without a chute or a plane, naturally.
