Between you guys on Saturday, and all the pro-illegals on Sunday, DC should be jumping this weekend.
You guys are seriously fucking up the dinner plans my wife and I have made. Sure, your protests are an exercise of your 1st amendment rights or something like that, but there is no consideration for people who live in the D.C. area. The metro is full of hippie smell, the signs are left laying around on the street, and all of the parking spaces are taking in downtown. Couldn’t you do this thing in some other city?

He should have a T-Nation shirt on, then we would really know it’s him for sure.
Hi guys,
Well hopefully we had some effect. We’re pretty tired - just got back to Boston.
I love how the legacy media have either ignored it (can you imagine if this many people showed up in support of the Bill?), or characterized us as 2,000 or so racists. LOL. Add at least a zero to that number: not only the central lawn down to the reflecting pool, but the side lawns were filled; and there was a constant flux of people coming and going. It was huge.
We had a lot of fun cheering and jeering, etc. - especially when the Reps were walking from the Capitol Building to the Congressional Office Buildings.
One of my favorite moments was our chanting of "Naaaaaanceeeeeeee!!! - it actually sounded a little terrifying; and, apparently it could be heard in the chamber, which must have sounded a little eerie. LOL!!
When we sang - amid otherwise complete silence and stillness, and beneath the brightest blue sky I’ve ever seen - the “Star Spangled Banner,” you cannot imagine the electrifying emotion of the moment. Few eyes were entirely dry.
There was also a girl’s choir that sang (gorgeously, I might add) “My Country Tis of Thee”
I have so many stories; many strange and many wonderful things happened; and in many ways, this was about more than just a single Bill.
However, what this was most emphatically NOT ABOUT was racism.
Now, there’s no doubt that in any large group of people there are a small minority of nutjobs - if there were a few people who shouted racist remarks (and I still haven’t seen any evidence of this), then that was wrong; and people should have (and probably did) said something. (I am more inclined, actually, to believe this whole thing to be a Dem ruse.)
Even if someone did, they were in an extreme minority. This was a good and sensible and kind group of people who simply care about their country.
I will say that I did witness one semi-racist incident: two Chinese students came up to me to interview me for a video project. I refused to participate (not a good idea - ever) As they were walking away, one dude behind me made a rascist, derogatory remark toward them. I turned around and shot back, “watch your mouth” - the body language of everyone around us instantly demonstrated whose side they were on - mine.
Trust me. THAT ^^ - overwhelmingly - is the kind of people who made this group up.
All I can say is: one thing I’ve learned is that there is a ton of energy out there. This isn’t fucking over. Not by a mile. But we do have to kick ass in November.
59% of Americans now disapprove of this bill. It’s hard to get that many people to agree on anything.
Lots more to say - anyway, naptime.
Oh, and Stupak’s a fucking pussy baby killing traitor.
Oh, and by the way. Regarding the “racist” allegations - to be honest, I was actually shocked to hear about them (on the news at night). The reason being, I saw many, MANY blacks, hispanics, asians, etc. who were just as fired up and warmly welcomed as anyone esle.

Glad you got back safe. To Boston of all places.
I think we’ll eventually learn that these hecklers were plants.

SEIU and ACORN are professional protesters. Have you ever seen so many professionally made signs, along with droves of buses bringing in people by the loads.

They also brought people in droves to the voting booths. Such an advantage to run for president and have army of buses shuttling all the “voters” to the voting places to vote for you. LOL! These politics are such a fucking scam here. Theatrics pure and simple. The US population will roll over and take whatever they have to give, that’s why they continue to give it as they always have. The Illusion of having a say in the process is just an illusion. America is best lived in to exploit for personal gain. Worry about your mortgage, kids and money coming in. All else is BS and politics are a colossal waste of time.
Our country has been bought and sold a long time ago.
can’t wait for the reaction from the looters and the “government”
when we the producers decide to shrug the weight of the world off our shoulders.
it’s going to be one big massive blame orgy!

I think that’s the key - as Beck pointed out yesterday in one of his best shows, the people revolting against this powergrab are the people who run and start businesses, produce stuff, work hard for a living, etc - and unlike the looters, they really know how to organize and get things done.
If the essentially convervative character of the American people is energized and united in opposition - and I think that is happening - the “looters” haven’t a chance, really.
A candidate my friends, we need a candidate who can harness and channel all this momentum.

How long ago, and by whom?

Yes, I’m really curious to see whom that might be. Personally, I don’t think it’s Romney or Palin or Paul or any of the other leading figures now.
