Silverhawks were always cool.

TOTALLY forgot about these guys!! Man, this thread is horrible. I’m NEVER gonna get any work done. Or sleep. Etc…

Re: Silverhawks again…

Yeah man, I had Flashback and Buzz-saw.

That’s usually how it went with all toys. I’d buy a few and some of my friends would buy some others. So collectively we’d make up all or most of the collection. With the exception Transformers and especially GI Joe. Everyone I knew (including myself) had to have ALL of those.

I remember all those toys mentioned already. Anyone remember the Visionaries? They weren’t as big and popular but they were on Sat morning cartoons for a while.

I had the GI Joe battle station. I think that is what it was called. It looked like an oil rig that is out in the ocean. How about Destro, that guy with the silver head.

Man, I was born 1984, but I remember visionaries. I had some of the little ones, but my older brother got one of the full-sized dudes.

We got it in a Toys’R’Us in Dallas, and then when we got home that night, I broke one of its legs off while I was playing with it. My brother cried, and I got whupped by my dad.

But I was only like two, so it’s not like I was an evil child and did it on purpose! [/quote]

I HAVE the visionaries DVD! Witterquick is the shit

“Sheathe these feet in the driving gale,
Make swift these legs o’er land I sail!”

Its weird how not many people are mentioning starwars. I just think its a completely different entity to the other stuff like MASK, GI Joe, Centurions etc. Saying that, I did have a ScoutWalker, an AT-AT and the Mellenium Falcon. What was those red guys … ah, imperial guard. All red with a red cape. They looked hectic.

Hey, just thought, does anyone remember TerraHawks?

That used to scare the SHIT outta me as a kid!

What about MicroMachines…

I remember my parents not wanting to let me play with them cause they thought my brother would swallow one. I remember that speed talking guy doing the commercials too.

I’d buy one of these if I could

Has to be He-man. Not only was he a big prick but his girl Sheera also liked to workout. I also hear that she was quite a good fuck! Not that that was ever in the storyline.

Does anybody remember a guy in an orange suit who could change into this blue-skinned buff guy? I have no idea what he was called. Also in the series was a lizard-guy in a blue suit, and one of the enemies was this purple insect-looking thing with red claws and stuff. The toy of the guy had the front half of the upper body in the suit, and you spun it around to show the blue-skinned guy on the back. Any of you experts. feel free to enlighten.

The 70’s was were it was at. Steve Austin anyone?

Or Evel Knievel…

Anyone remember the die cast metal ‘Eagle Force’ action figures?

Also, I think that D&D snake-looking castle playset was called the Fortress of Fangs.

And yes, this thread is awesome.

I’ll go ahead and mention some that no one else has so far.

Battle Beasts
Dino Riders
Ghostbusters
Centurions

I had a Dino Rider and Ghostbusters. I only had the dino rider with the video though the dinosaur moved on its own it was amazing.
