FUCK YEAH!!! Exo Squad was easily the best show from my childhood. Probably the best show ever.
The E-Frame toys ruled too.
Exo Squad was early/mid 90’s though. Still a cool cartoon for sure.

Yeah I remember them, Mid-90s I think. I’m 23 and they’re from my childhood. I had like 5 of those toys, they kicked ass, some of them shot alot of plastic missles and whatnot, who was the guy that had a grappling hook, that was cool. I think their still at my parent’s house sitting in a box…I hope

How about Lonestar? Anyone remember that guy? He was basically some sort of a super-indian sherriff. He came along just as I was getting out of the toy thing.
That’d be Bravestarr. I had the action figure, plus the horse.
Man what memories this thread brought back! I still have all my He Man figures, but I can’t remember their names: that snake man with elongating arms, a devotee of king Hiss. Anyone knows who it is.
It might have been the massive assault of commercials for it, the brief cartoon show hyping it even more, and the fact that it was pimped almost like My Buddy and Cabbage Patch Kids.
Yes, someone else mentioned My Buddy! I don’t how or why but I can still sing that damn song from the commercial.
“My buddy, my buddy, wherever I go, he goes. My buddy, my buddy, my buddy and me!”
I’m sorry, did I just cross a line right there? Should I not have done that? Cause I gotta tell ya, If I knew that that kinda thing was frowned upon…
FUCK!!!
That… ARGH!!… song has been hibernating in my brain like a fuckin’ prion, and you just set it free!!! BAStard!!
Mah Buddy (my buddy)
Mah Buddy (my BUDDY)
Mah Buddy and Me!

Shogun Warriors
Oh HELL YES! I had Gaiking (on left) and my neighbor had the one on the right (not actual pic or ours, mind you). I took the chest missle-launcher out (whole thing could be removed from the back) and put GI Joes in him. It was like a Trojan-Robot.
Honestly, that’s pretty much how I used all toys other than GI Joe. They had to some way be useful to the Joes (or Cobra, for that matter).
I had Mazinga. One of the large ones, like you show above, and a smaller die-cast version (3.5 inch), that interacted with my Micronauts and Star Wars figures.
Mazinga ruled.
Until the day Repto caught his shogun ass in the jaws of Hornetron and kamikazed the Millenium Falcon. All souls were lost.
God Damned sad day, that was.
What was the name of the RED Shogun Warrior? IT had points sticking out of it’s head.
One not mentioned: Battlestar Galactica. Had the Viper fighters and Cylon Raiders that shot small red pieces to simulate lazers…until some kid swallowed it and they made them not shoot out.

That was Dragun.
That made me remember! Who else had the Godzilla shogun warrior?
Silly kid. I remember when that story hit, 'cuz it was the day before I got my allowance, which I had earmarked for one of those Cylon Raider jobbies. Unfortunately, my mom saw the story. End of a dream.
Come on you geeks!
Everyone had starwars figures!!!
I actually had the original AT-AT. Yes, the big foogin’ full-sized one where you could open the doors on the side and stand your figures up in there. Damn, between that and M.A.S.K. Boulder Mountain I must have been a pretty spoiled little brat…
EDIT: Found a sweet pic. I used that bad boy for all my toys, not just Star Wars.
Ahh,rings back memories.
I gotta show you some pics of mine.
Jetfire was my all time fav. It was basically a Macross Robotech toy resold by Hasbro as a Transformer. Mostly metal, many moveable parts and joints, spring loaded landing gear, it was awesome. I got it for Christmas and my brother got Shockwave. Many battles ensued!
On the TV show he looked a little different and was called Skyfire.

Had the [metal] Robotech one. Rock on dude.
Showed the sectaurs post to my brother…i think he actually cried (he’s 23).
