Legs are looking phenomenal…like myself, I think they’ll always be a strong point for you, especially quads. Nothing to be ashamed of at all, it’s awesome! It also looks to me like your back width has been coming along nicely these last few months, did you end up overhauling how you train it significantly?

Oy what a day…

No gym today sigh
Which really screws me over because I had legs planned for tomorrow. But there’s no way I’m walking in the gym this late trying to do a chest/back workout right now. Ha!
I guess everything will have to be pushed back a day. My new university is already ruining my training schedule and I’m not even taking the classes yet. This is foreshadowing, yes, yes it is.

Anyway, when I got home late late late, I saw a Missing Person posted up by one of my neighbors. I never met them before, they’re new, and I think it’s tragic that someone in their family is missing. So I stopped by their house along my walk home to give my condolences. The girl is about my age, it’s terrible to think something like that happened just down my street.

So, kinda downer of a day.


Powerpuff, scale weight is stupid to base everything on. It makes going to the doctor annoying though. I love the looks on the nurses’ face when, although they look heavier than me, they weigh less. I guess they feel better about themselves to know that they weigh less than 19 year old Nikki. When I go on the scale they give this disappointing look. Go over to blood pressure and test my HR and whatnot. What’s that nurse? Oh I’m healthier than you? Yeah, you can save that Diabetes and Death speech for someone else

H4M, oye you make me feel so bad for not updating my RMP thread. I’m kinda embarrassed TBH, I have nothing to update with and feel like I gave up, although I’m just postponing…
Anyway! Back training has been taken more seriously thanks to your post. I pretty much do pull-ups every chance I get, got stronger on them as well. I also love Pendlays! Your advice helped a great deal. I took off 2 weeks from training due to an injury though but right now I’m focusing on bringing up everything so I might have something impressive to show you in the future.
I’m keeping my raincheck on PMing you. I still look at the advice you gave me frequently, don’t think that I take it for granted <3

Maschy the Insulin Advantage has tweaks for everyone; those just wanting to build muscle, lose fat or both. I’m sure you can use the advice in there in some way =D

I don’t watch the news for a reason…it’s a scary place right outside the gate and I’d rather just not know sometimes.

I don’t watch the news. On my way home I saw the posters that were taped on the gate to my neighborhood.

As I was walking up to the house, one of the family members had the most somber look on his face, sitting in his garage with the garage door open. Kind of like he was just waiting for the girl to ride up in a car full of teens from a night out.

It really hurt to see him looking like that. I know the kids in that house, they always play in the drive way with the garage door open. They weren’t playing today.

My schedule is stacked and I’m not going to kill myself doing GVT back, etc. at 10 pm after seeing 50 patients. We’ll see. Sounds like you should chill and use the extra rest.

Meant to ask you… where’d you get those hot little shorts that you’re sportin’ in the avi? I need some. <3 that they have side-slits, very accommodating for big legs. Oh, forgot to mention. Thighs are looking yummy.

sorry to hear about what happened in your neighborhood. stuff like that can be pretty freaky. going from feeling safe and trusting to not really knowing how something like that could happen. really hoping that this has a happy (as possible under the circumstances) resolution.

we do have one of the angled back extension machines in the other room. i’ll try the behind the neck weighting on that one, so thanks for the demo :slight_smile:
