I gotta say, I love this insulin advantage thing. Still looking good, feeling beefy and best part is my energy. My mind gets fucked up around 2 or 3 PM on my old typical diet, but with this new style of eating, I feel good right up to bedtime. I needed the energy for an online midterm yesterday as well. Owlie, itās sort of like a carb cutoff. Depends on when you train.
The bulk/cut calls for 2 meals that spike insulin and for the other meals not to spike insulin, i.e low carb
Best way to explain is to say my diet yesterday:
Woke up and I had 2 cups of milk, 2 waffles, PB, honey (really spikes insulin) and jam.
Trained
Post workout- immediately after was PP shake
Went home and made a fish filet, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato fries, a ginger ale (soft drinks are good for insulin spikes no doubt) and 6 choc chip cookies
Later on I had some nuts while waiting to get my prime rib dinner.
I may go a little overboard with the post-workout meals, but to me, I want more carbs and protein to go into my muscles.
Because I train when I wake up, itās kind of like a carb cutoff to me. But the article says nothing about that, because for people who train in the afternoon or evening, their insulin meals will be around their training time.

Weighed in at 144.0-144.5 this morning. Kinda bummed. Thatās .5-1.0 pounds lost
Took some creatine afterwards.
Did a rough bodyfat check.
Lost some millimeters in abdominals and thighs. Didnāt do the calculations because I want to give this bulk/cut thing a week before officially checking results. But I must say that Iām quite happy. More mass, less bodyfat that I can tell.
