Did it a bit different, did chest, then back. Didn’t feel like supersetting myself to oblivion.
Thanks to DF’s help (round of applause for him, he’s so helpful) I was able to get the band benching done. I got 85# DBs… hauled that shit to the other side of the gym. That’s a workout in itself.
Well, it would have been if I didn’t end up rolling the DBs 1/5 of the way there. It took forever, but oh well.

So, DF’s mini-me helped me set up.
He’s really friendly, and for those who don’t know, I say DF’s mini-me because that’s how DF will look if he weighs 160 (not 140# like I originally thought lol). He even got the beanie. How awesome is that?
Anyway, so he helped me get the bands on the bar so the bar doesn’t hit me in my face, not cute.

Aqua, my warm-ups are usually 10-15 minutes already, with getting HR up, mobility stuff, now foam rolling. The extra 5-8 minutes needed to move the DBs over was not needed for more warm-up haha
DF, I did see vids of yours I believe? Using bands on the HS machines and such. We shall see, those are some strong lil buggers haha

So, cheat ahem day end ahem was successful. I was a lot hungrier today though. Probably because my diet this past week was a lot more restrictive in calories and had a lot more work in it. Kinda sucks that when I wake up tomorrow, I’ll be back to that routine. It’s all good though.
I’m thinking of doing legs tomorrow, I’m feeling really anxious to get back in the gym so I’m hoping for a good leg workout tomorrow.
The bf is coming over shortly to help me kill the rest of these zeppolis, and I’ll ask if he’ll be available to spot me for squats. I can really use a PR in that department.

Hey sweetcheeks. I also embarrassed some dude out of the squat rack next to me today. Yay us! There were a lot of gawkers in the gym today, but I didn’t pay them any attention, except for the guy who kept staring and walking by while I was doing rack pulls. i finally had to ask him if he was waiting for the power rack. Of course the answer was, “No.”
