Hi Guys, I am on week 7 of a 500mg/w TE with the first 3 weeks using 40mg anavar and the last 4 weeks using 40mg whinny. I am also taking .25mg of anastrozole 3 times a week one with each T shot. Three days ago I added Tamoxifen 20mg/day at breakfast to try and bring my SHGB up from 6.
From nighttime stretching in bed to just watching TV in the evening I am experiencing charlie horse-type muscle cramps and it is not just in my legs. Forearms, rib cage, lower jaw. I can not even make love in the normal preacher position without my legs and even toes cramping to the point I have to stop and change positions.
I take Mag citrate and potassium supplement daily. They are normal doses.
I am really pushing it at the gym since this is week 7 and I am feeling really strong and my endurance has doubled. But post-gym my body is really struggling with this increased workload.
What can I do?
I am pretty sure I am eating well. I take a lot of supplements, too numerous to list, to support this blast.
Yes. And it causes cramping as one of its primary side effects. Just something you’ll need to deal with, happens to the best of us. I did find that taurine helps a little, but not completely.
I am taking a crap load of supplements to support this cycle but I am not sure taurine is one of them. Thank you for this suggestion. I will check my pre workout that would be the only place I have not looked.
Caffeine will cause cramping too, mainly because if it’s diuretic properties. I like to stick with a stimulant free pre workout, mainly because I work out in the evening.
I do drink decaf in the morning just one cup. I am drinking about a half gal of water in 24 hours. Maybe I should try to up that. I did look thru my bag of tricks and found some taurine. What do you recommend for a daily dose. Is morning or evening better?
My prework out is JYM but only 1/2 a scoop.
A full scoop makes my skin crawl like I am covered in ants. Could this be my cramp issue It is loaded with caffiene?
As far as the caffeine, 150mg is a decent amount, 300mg is crazy. I could easily handle that much when I was younger, but now I’m sure I would feel like shit an hour after taking that much. Don’t get me wrong, lots of guys can handle that much or more, maybe I am an outlier, I don’t know. But you will for sure get some dehydration going even with a half scoop.
You should up that water to a gallon or more per day, and sip it throughout the day rather than a bunch all at once.
