First day back after the snow event. 3" shut down all the roads. I learned what cabin fever feels like after only 3 days.

warmed up with neutral grip pullups 2 x 10 (no weight); and

I “admired” a 200 lb sandbag to the point of grabbing it with both hands. The gym doesn’t have anything lighter so I’m debating another sandbag purchase.

Sandbags are a terrific challenge. I can only imagine what a snowfall like that would be like in your neck of the woods.

Snowfall was unbelievable. It snowed about 7" at a friend’s camp on the gulf of Mexico. We only had 3" at best in Baton Rouge.

45 year old at gym liked my calf workout suggestion from 2 weeks ago. He said he works out daily at 4 am with weekends off. I suggested 2 nonconsecutive days off for better results.

Surprisingly I couldn’t find any sandbags in the “Disneyworld” gym today.

200 lb gym sandbag was in different spot this am. I’m now eying a 150 for the office.

I enjoyed this workout. Guy at other gym (the strong gym) said I was really strong, and nobody there knows my age. Said I looked about 60. Reminded me of Crippler being told he looked really great in Las Vegas swimming pool. I like to think I look at least sorta nonfat solid, but strong and not looking 77 are a real plus.

The sandbag will make you look even younger.

Good workout. I waited for the leg press while a guy in reasonably incredible shape do a lot of 2 plate per side raises, noting each rep on his phone. And gym attendance for a rainy day was lowest I’ve seen at the strong gym.
