Tried single leg hamstring curls and felt lightening strike the hamstring, so not out of woods yet.
Wide grip pullups with cable apparatus’ handlebars were actually easy. Nemesis be gone! Guess I’ll do them that way instead of the pullup/dip apparatus I’ve been using; handles better placed and grip is better. Overhand grip is way to go. Will skip weighted ones for awhile since I have to jump up to grab handles unlike other appratus with steps.
Is there a certain range of motion where that occurs or right at the beginning of the movement?
I’m wondering if you can work the range where lightning doesn’t strike so that you’re not completely detraining it.
Lightening strikes seem limited to leg curls. I did 205 on leg extensions today without effect. Walked about l/2 mile before gym and noticed it but not painfully. I’m not ready to experiment with seated leg curls and deadlefits yet.

The pullup handles in this gym are a bit high to jump up to grab so far. I was not happy with my jumping attempts so I did pullups on regular bars I use. I’ll have to do some thinking since their setup is exactly the same as my once weekly gym that has moveable benches that I can climb on. Got to work up to being the nerd who drags the one moveable bench across the gym to the high bars.

Skipped Saturday’s workout and was lazy today. I did drag bench over to new pullup station where wide grip pullups seemed effortless compared to former pullup spot.

yes. A 30 year old gym friend said he wouldn’t want to be around a woman who didn’t want to be with him. Made excellent sense and that one comment makes me comfortable with the divorce which will be final at end of August. I believe wife will eventually realize what she’s lost. I’ve been going out a good bit and I’m looking around. Life goes on.
Nevertheless I remain convinced we are perfect for each other.
I think of it as “no one wants the reluctant bride,” which I use regardless of gender. Same thing - I want someone as into me as I to him. Which can confuse me on a bad day, as I can become very reactive. I wish I had your faith and patience!
I continue to boggle over the differences in each of your viewpoints - it seems like usually after an unwanted breakup the partner who didn’t want the relationship to end sees that there were cracks all along, unless in it for motives other than love/compatibility. You seem such a standup guy, and fit to boot. I’ve been here long enough to remember the loss of your first wife (unless I’ve conflated you with someone else). I just…continue to boggle. And sympathize.
