Brutal…ly good!

I’ve increased creatine from 5 to l0 grams daily since reading Crippler’s back on it. Lest we forget he rack pulled 700+ while OFF of it. I take it in my breakfast shakes.

My morning shake is disgusting mix of creatine, beet root and pomegranate juice. I take another shot of creatine after workouts.

Crippler, no protein?

My breakfast shake: carton of 10 raw egg whites, 1/2 cup water, bit of honey, 2 scoops vanilla ice cream flavored protein powder, 5 (now 10) grams creatine. Tastes good.

Lunch is canned tuna blended with a can of tomato juice. Dinner is a smorgasbord.

Worked yesterday until about 5:45 pm, usual half hour of traffic, got home and felt like near death, then immediately cooked dinner because wife was out. Workout today at 5am. This doesn’t read like I’m 75 so I’ll blame trt.

I take my drink prior to eating. I normally do a mix of egg whites and eggs along with toast. Unless it is a day like today. I did a fruit smoothy with all the items I listed, plus protein, Greek yogurt, and egg whites.

Glad to read you’re using egg whites. I think they’re the best protein source. When I stopped eating the yokes in my 6 - 8 breakfast eggs, losing weight was easier for me. Egg white cartons were the next step.

Lotta court lately but did usual stuff, except yesterday did belt squats 2 x 7 w/780.

Had skin cancer removed from calf this am. No big deal but surgeon tried to scare me about the stitches failing and me bleeding all over the place if I work out in next 14 days. He succeeded, so forced vacation. Just when I was increasing lifts.

Beast

Ok, I do pursue beast status and big arms but I’ll never get into Crippler’s super beast 700+ rack pull/deadlift club.

Nurses asked yesterday if I played a lot of tennis or worked out. Was a bigger perk to me than
learning I’m now skin cancer free. A lifter’s priorities, but my cancer background was the 7 hellweek months’ first wife’s cancer demise which altered my ideas about life. Calf now feels like a water well was drilled into it.

I planned to take it easy this first day back, but when 135 warmup felt like 225, the workout went south.
Besides my embarassment, I got a good pump.
