Did you read the studies? Of course not. Therefore you cannot know how biased (or unbiased) they were, who paid for their funding or even whether their methodology was sound.
MDMA is not ‘safe’. Alcohol is not ‘safe’. Street X is definitely not safe. Alcohol makes the ingestion of other drugs worse for your body by forming new and more toxic by-products as well as delaying the metabolism and excretion of foreign substances by giving priority to alcohol metabolism.
On a ‘one off’ basis, I would probably rather see my child take:
A controlled measured dose of MDMA in a controlled, secure setting.
A controlled measured dose of alcohol in a controlled, secure setting.
A controlled measured dose of MDMA in an uncontrolled setting.
A dose of street X (obviously its not measured or controlled because you don’t know WTF is in it).
Any dose of alcohol in an uncontrolled setting.

.
.
A mix of MDMA or street X AND alcohol in an unsecure setting - which is what the law effectively forces youths to resort to. Yay ‘zero tolerance’.
Why this order? Because at least with MDMA you learn something about empathy and chemically-induced ‘love’. Alcohol teaches you very little that is useful about yourself in one intake IMO.
Obviously a controlled, secure setting is to be preferred over a street setting where any idiot can take advantage of someone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Pure MDMA is to be preferred over street X. I have taken both and the difference is marked.

My first time I popped three throughout the night. The only comedown I had was me being tired and my jaw kinda hurt from clenching. Maybe you danced really hard? I don’t know.
Most people I know don’t have a comedown that leaves them immobile or anything close to that.
