6 Months with Daily Injections, Bloodwork Questions

Labs done every 3 months. On a trough/Friday before injection.

MWF: 40mg (120mg weekly)

Labs:
TT: 1037 (265 - 915)
E2: 53 (7 - 42)
HCT: 53.7. (37 -51)
———————————————————————
Daily: 16mg (112mg weekly)

Labs:
TT: 675 (265 - 915) dropped 362 ng/dl
E2 31 (7-42) dropped 22 points
HCT 53 (37 - 51)
———————————————————————
Daily 18mg (126 weekly) - increased dose to raise TT

Labs:
TT: 652 (265 - 915) dropped even though dose increased
E2: <5 started anastrazole due to acne, need to adjust dose so e2 isn’t tanked. Acne has completely stopped.
HCT: 49 (37 - 51) lowest it’s ever been in 2 years since starting TRT. 6 months after starting daily shots.

Questions:

  1. Why hasn’t my TT gone up since increasing the dose from 16mg to 18mg.

  2. I keep reading that you need a lower dose on daily shots, so I went down from 120mg MWF to 112mg daily and my TT dropped from 1037 to 675. Even when going up to 126mg with daily shots my TT hasn’t come back to where it was. Why is this the case?

  3. I’m considering going up to 20mg daily (140mg) weekly to get my TT back to 900-1000 range. Does it make more sense to just go back to MWF 120mg and take less test rather than taking more with daily shots to achieve a higher TT.

  4. Daily shots seem to have lowered my hematocrit into a normal range after 6 months. Do you think this is because of smaller daily shots or just because my overall total testosterone has dropped from 1000+ to the 600 range. I think HCT will just go back up even on daily shots if my TT increased.

Any feedback is appreciated, thanks

Im on Dailies and I didnt mess with my dose. I take about 30mg a day and it puts me at 1200TT, but I go by feeling. Ignore the numbers if you feel great at 120mg/wk. Stop playing around, and stick to your protocol. You’re chasing TT, E, and HCT numbers.

You’re not seeing the whole picture and only focusing on the Total T, the dosage increase could have decreased your SHBG while increasing your Free T.

I’d guess it was the latter. I did daily and EOD and my HCT remained elevated
