6 Months Out From Next PL Meet

Last night:

Squat:

260 x 5

Bench:
135 x 5
160 x 5
195 x 5
235 x 5
295 x 5
315 x 5
335 x 3 - ARRRRGHHHH! Hit a safety stand on the 4th rep and screwed up my groove. My bar speed was better than it’s ever been. This really pissed me off

Unilateral Dumbbell floor press:
(90 x 10) x 5

Saturday:
Squat:
45 x 10
135 x 5
175 x 5
215 x 5
265 x 5

Deads:
135 x 5
215 x 5
275 x 5
325 x 1 - and done; spent two hours working in the yard before

Today:
Squat:
45 x 10
135 x 5
175 x 5
215 x 5
265 x 5

Z-press:
45 x 10
72 x 5
90 x 5
108 x 5
135 x 5
145 x 5
155 x 8

Bradford press:
(72 x 10) x 5

Got any vague ideas what your attempts are going to look like?

not really. i keep thinking i’d like to aim for a 450/550/550, but i really have no idea at this point if that’s too much or too little; i still don’t know what the heck i’m doing. if i can get a weekend free, i’m going to go back to lil power’s gym and she what she thinks would be good attempts.

That 390 moved well; it was slow but steady. considering 385 stapled me to the bench a few months ago, i’m pretty happy with this

Morning squats:

410 x 2
455 x 1
510 x …unracked it and just stood there for about 30 seconds enjoying the view

Thats big lifting right there. I’m thinking your total is going to be huge in Jan.
