6 Hours Between Weights and Cardio?

In honour of this thread, I just finished up an upper body lift, followed by a 2.6 mile run.

Now that you mention it, I did feel the gains slip away a little with each step. I’m hoping the optimal pre-work out meal, BCAAs intra, post workout shake with 40 g protein/80 g carbs, and a 18.35 min warm up of SMR, static and dynamic stretching, and activation drills, followed by the latest evidence based amount of sets/reps, helped me maybe keep something.

(Sarcasm…)

I can feel the sarcasm, but that is a perfectly fine workout.
