50 lb Journey

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to post something to see if it helps anybody else in their journey. Over the past 6 months I have undergone a pretty heavy transformation, I just thought I’d post a picture and how I did it if anybody else is in a similar situation.

Training
5 Days a Week Fasted Incline Walking 45-60 min increasing time or incline each week.

3 Days a Week Weight Training

Day 1 - 5x5 Deadlifts and 5X5 Shoulder Press 2 min rest between

Day 2 - 5x5 Squats and 5x5 Pull Ups 2 min rest between

Day 3 - 5x5 Bench, 4X6-8 Incline Bench, 4X 8-10 Cable Cross, 3X 10-12 Incline Fly, 3XMAX Pushups

4 X 200 Yard Sprint Twice a week on off days.

DIET

LUNCH
12PM
Chicken Breast 8oz, 3 strips bacon, Italian Dressing FULL FAT, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, 1oz light cabot cheese.

PWO NUTRITION
1 Scoop Plazma
2 Scoops MAG-10

(On chest day 3 scoops Plazma and 2 scoops MAG-10)

4PM
1 HOUR POST WORKOUT
3 Eggs, 2 Slices Ezekiel Toast, Butter, 2 Scoops Protein Powder, 1/4 Cup Oats, 1/2 Cup Blue Berries, 1 Scoop Peanut Butter

7PM
Dinner
8 oz Steak
Brocolli
Seared in Olive Oil

On Non workout days I didn’t take PLazma and MAG-10 and I also only had a protein shake with Peanut butter mid day, and had 2 potatoes with dinner.

On Chest day I engaged in a full on cheat day, pretty hard core too at least 6000-7000 calories.

Following Cheat day I engaged in a full fast.

Anyway, worked for me to get here if interested.

6 feet tall, when from 245 to 195.

Nice work. What’s the significance of 3 scoops on chest day?

That’s the recommended dosage for Plazma. On the other days I was doing less than the recommended dosage for budget reasons. But on cheat day I figured I might as well do the whole dose since A. That was probably the only time I was eating enough for muscle gain and B. My chest has always been lagging, so I wanted to try and give it a peri workout boost. My chest is still very poor in development but I did notice some muscle gain there during the body fat cut.

Quite a change you pulled off there! Much respect.

S

Congrats on the transformation

But you looked much happier when you were fat,

Abs look photoshopped. The midline doesn’t match the rest of the torso. The color doesn’t match. The sharpness doesn’t match.

Could be wrong. Good work if I’m wrong. Need to work on photoshop skills if I’m right.

EDIT: I feel like an asshole saying that… but I just can’t get past the part where your abs are somehow more tanned than your waist and your chest.

Haha, not really.

I’m actually pretty impressed. Everything in the description makes plenty of sense too.

The “after” photo is just throwing me off. Could be entirely in my head.

If anything the odd tan is just me being terrible with sunscreen haha or just where the vanity light is on my mirror. Thanks for the feedback!

Nicely done. How long had you been at the heavier weight? It doesn’t look like you got left with a bunch of loose skin.

I got fat over the course of 2 years or so, and spent maybe 6 months at my heaviest weight. Thank god there was no loose skin, I hate remembering that I became that fat mess haha.

This is inspiring my friend. Thanks for sharing

at first I thought you were making a joke when you said this was photoshopped. do you think he shopped his avi picture too? unbelievable.

OP, great job man. My only advice: clean your mirror before taking another selfie. that shit is gross.

When I posted that, I was actually serious. On one of my monitors, the coloring looks completely off [between the bottom of the pecs and the navel], which threw everything off.

But, if any offense was actually incurred (and I doubt it was), I apologize.

No Offense taken at all my man.

Concerning your post cheat day fast…

I’m a faster also, but I’m always worried about doing it on the day after a tough workout. Aren’t the muscles still starving for nutrition on the following day? It looks like what you’re doing is working, but I was wondering if anyone could chime in about the importance of feeding your muscle repair not only on workout day, but the day after as well.

Although, I’m not sure I can answer that, the only thing I would say is that when I am implementing fasting, my only goal is fat loss. I don’t expect any muscle to grow while I am in fat loss mode, all I am doing is trying to prevent it’s loss, and I think 7000 or so calories would do that. But if there is one thing I learned during this journey it’s that sometimes you just have to experiment and see what works.

very well done my man, impressive stuff.
