5 Days From KY State BB Champs

Thanks again to all who responded. The positive feedback is REALLY motivational, especially since it’s time for me to quit this post show binge eating and get back to the serious diet for the next show in November.

I finally got the competition pictures uploaded from the camera, if anyone is interested you can check them out in the physique & performace photos section here:

awesome job for your first show, and it looks like you have alot of room to grow, so I’ll be expecting to see you doing some damage on national stage in the future.

Congrats

Funny you mention that. I qualified for a national show by winning my class at this past show so I’m thinking about giving nationals a go next November. That would be awesome, but I know I have a lot of work to do betweem now and then to get ready for that kind of show, especially on my posing. Nationals ain’t no joke!

your physique is downright DIRTY.

10/10

Hell yeah! Who wants to do LEGS more than once a week?

Works for me so I stick with it. If I get crazy I might go every six days instead of seven days, but that’s rare. I actually decided not to do the KY Muscle show this weekend. I kept cheating on my diet, and even though I looked good, I felt like I could do a lot better. I hadn’t practiced my routine enough either.

I’m going to take some time to add some mass, I’m about 185 right now on a slow trek to 200 at (hopefully) 8% bodyfat, preferably less. I have so much chicken and steak in my future it’s unreal. Oh yeah, my wife-to-be is six months pregnant too so we both thought I should spend the last three months of the pregnancy getting fat together with her

Tentatively, I’m thinking of doing the North American Championships next fall in Cleveland, possibly a local or regional show the weekend before to see if I can peak my conditioning and work out any flaws for the NA show. I’m excited about getting bigger, seems like I’ve been on a diet FOREVER! I’m surprised you remembered the show, but thanks for the check up

Later

I have no idea how all you guys do it. your physiques and strength are on a whole other level. I’m 16, 5’ 6 1/2", and i weigh 131 LBS. I have some of my lifts posted on my blog, but they’re nothing compared to all you guys. I’d love to here some advice from you guys in order to keep getting bigger and stronger.

That is impressive. Okay So I have 8" to gain on the quads…

How many years have you been training for tfrench - I think it might be the answer to Weight Lifters question above.

Love the quads, and the calves. You’ve been sweating your share of blood to carve those.

crazy impressive body! especially for your first show. It looks like you earned your great placing. Congrats!

Damn right, nothing sucks quite as bad as leg training. But it separates the men from the boys (and the women from the girls for that matter).
