There are more idiots out there than I dare admit.

I believe that Roberts was the turncoat or we would have beaten it. But as Max has already appropriately pointed out this will only bolster Romney’s chances of beating Obama as about 2/3rds of the country was against the health care bill.
On a personal note this is a big financial win for me. I currently insure all of my employees and now I will no longer have to do that. While I will pay a fine of $1,900 per employee per year this is far cheaper than what I was paying for them. So I will now cut them all loose and they can enjoy the “free” health care that will be provided. I do feel sorry for some of them but the Obama supporters who work for me will get pretty much what they deserve.
So, personally I win but I was absolutely against this as it is a horrible law for the country.
Romney 2012!

But it doesn’t need them running healthcare and the economy.

haha… I’m just thankful for the non-idiots mixed inbetween.
But what if it works and the economy doesn’t collapse? Is that a bad thing? Additionally there are still going to be roughly 20-25 million folks without insurance (this was a watered down version of the original bill), how is it universal health care if everyone is not covered?

A huge part of my law firm’s business is asset protection/tax protection.
Capital (money) goes where it is liked and well-treated. It is flowing OUT of the USA like I’ve never seen it before.
Like the others who post, I fell bad that the impending failure of this country is making me money, but I’m not going to let it just slip by, either.
Here is the majority opinion delivered by Chief Justice Roberts, if anyone wants to read it.

The stock market took a shit since the ruling was announced, that is a reasonable sign of what is to happen.
Also, this is literally the largest tax increase in modern history, which will hit the poor and middle class the most.
Remember that bullshit line, “If you make under $250k per year, you will not see your taxes go up one dime.” ??
It actually overturned the government’s argument that they had the right to regulate inaction. BUT it said that thought they couldn?t regulate it, they could tax it.
Because of course taxation isn’t regulation you know…

I don’t think they’re talking about regulating inaction, they’re talking about regulating interstate commerce.
The Federal Government hereby Commands you to buy Broccoli every Tuesday, Gym Memberships at Gold’s Gym, Enterically Coated Baby Aspirin, wine, and Fish Oil.
All these things are good for you, as your Superiors have decided, and they get to decide how to spend every last dime you earn. The Supremes said so today.
You are now owned, lock stock and barrel, by the government.
They can direct 100% of your earnings as they see fit.
You’re a slave this morning.
I’d advise leaving before they restrict your ability to do so — oh wait, they also passed a law that if you IRS says you owe money (you don’t actually have to owe it, they just have to say you owe it), your passport is revoked. Sorry.
Hmm. I haven’t been looking too deeply into this Obamacare thing due to lack of interest, but now that It’s passed I’ve read up on it and… How is this any kind of “care” at all?
They call it ‘Obamacare’ as though it’s an alternative form of insurance, but all it does is essentially make not having health insurance a finable crime. Thanks Obama!
It also acts as yet another barrier-to-entry for small businesses as now any business that wants to expand past 50 employees will be forced to buy coverage for its employees.
Oh and removing an insurer’s ability to turn down people isn’t going to help matters either; But hey, you can always have another bailout I suppose.
I’ve yet to find anything in this law I can say I agree with.
Tigertime,
It appears to mostly help insurance companies.
Should be an other shining government success…

I’m not so sure it even does that. Insurers can no longer turn down people who waited until they were on the verge of death to get healthcare.
The way I see it, either a lot more people will be finding themselves paying the Obamafine, or insurance companies will be going down faster than a 38 year-old woman who still has dreams of motherhood.

That capital won’t come back at 65 cents on the dollar either.

So, if the GOP passed an individual mandate that every non-felon that didn’t own a semi-automatic weapon by 2014 would be taxed, oops I mean fined, $1,500, would that also be progress?
