HAHA. By the way, if you buy the book I have a nice .xls I’ll share with you for calculating the weights for each week of the month!

That’s nice but you can’t print it out and bring it in the gym with you. Mine formats beautifully on 1 page with room to write in your reps

There is a 5/3/1 app for android, works really well but you can’t print.

Fortune favors the brave.

Yeah, a huge +1 on buying the book. Get it from his website (jimwendler.com) and you’ll get the second edition. Seriously, $20 is cheap to invest and he’s been a super resource and even answers the questions in the 5/3/1 thread in the powerlifting forum.

Yeah 20 bucks is cheap… What i don’t want is an E-book. Could I learn something from it? I suppose I could. Dave Tate also has an e-book , under the bar…
Basically the book is what is called periodization which is an intelligent way to train for maximum strength. There are others out there, they are in Physical form but they aren’t cheap.I have a couple works that deal with this subject One by W Krammer and V M. Zatsiorsky which deal with it in a general way amongst other topics in Strength training. But Krammer’s other work, undulating periodization is the one that got me thinking on the subject. The latest one i have which is excellent is by Tudor o. Bompa and Michael c.Carrera Periodization training for sports. And Maximun strength by Eric Cressey is also excellent. I’ve learned from all these sources.
