42 Midgets vs. 1 Lion

Look, someone has to say it. “Do these midgets have large talons?”

Anyhow, I do think 42 full-grown men would be able to deal enough blunt-force trauma to bring down a lion. How many T-Nation members would it take? I’d say 5 ProfXs, 20 Powdas, 87 XCelticXs, or just 1 Al Shades (using super-intelligence to warp the matrix and destroy the lion).

And on an unrelated note, I’d easily be the next Ultimate Fighting Champion, if I was allowed to use a sword.

I keep getting a page not found message. Is it anywhere else?

in the wild i’d take one full grown male african alpha of pride mufasa lion over a thousand full grown male hyenas.

many seem to underestimate the ability of one body with superior size and power to obliterate multitudes of opponents with inferior size and power.

i’d take myself over every skinny guy to ever post pics on this site at the same time. unarmed, of course.[/quote]

You must not have seen many nature videos. I would take any pack hunting animal PACK over any single animal, unless they’re in very different territories where the single animal has an obvious advantage, like Penguins in the desert, but you get my point.

Hyenas have driven off many much larger predators due soley to their strength in numbers, and this is when the larger animal just made a kill, is as hungry as it’s going to get and already tasted the blood! And if I remember correctly, I believe I saw about 5 or 6 Hyenas drive off a Lion.

From a human point of view, I had a wrestling coach who was 4th in line to go to the olympics (4 others would have to get injured or disqualified for him to go, but still very good). He weighed 106lbs and won, fair and square against a new “tough guy” 180lb football player in a wrestling match. Our coach was too quick and very skilled. He would keep taking him down (2 points) and letting him back up (1 point). Eventually in the 6 minutes, the heavily muscled football player was trying to catch his breath while our coach was still zipping around laughing.

Sure, size and strength can help, but they’re not the only factors in a fight, otherwise the UFC would just weight the 2 fighters and test their strength and declare a winner before they ever fought.

yeah but im talking about an alpha mufasa lion. i too have seen hyenas drive off lions, but never the king of the jungle.

honestly though, im getting my ideas partly from a vid i saw where a bunch hyenas take a kill from three lioness. that is, until the king of the jungle shows up.

im sure if your wrestling coach had wrestled another world class wrestler who weighed 180 he would have gotten his ass handed to him.

if the lion was the baddest of his kind and he had experience dealing with multiple opponents i’d disagree. imo, the only way the lion would get beat is through exhaustion, not from being beaten down.

the reason i say this is because there are very finite avenues that can be taken against a single opponent.

Hell - I’ll whoop the damn lion. Just give me a chair and a whip, and I’ll have the little shit balancing on a Swiss ball.
