A lot of people wind up injured this way. Quality over quantity.
One of my brothers friends is one of the top judo guys in Aus… I think he does judo four times per week, this has always been his training frequency
He lifts (powerlifting) around three times per week in conjunction with his judo.
Yet there are guys who train far more often and never even reach state championship level.
A friend of mine almost made it into the commonwealth games for wrestling. He wrestles 5-6 times per week… not 2x per day either
On the other hand, I had a friend who was a total cunt so we had falling out. He can train upwards of 3x per day but he’s the most self absorbed narcissistic asshole… I resent having everbbecome friends with him. He’s like pro level BJJ
