Yes completely agree and thank you for your time to reply. I have a few month old blood test but without hormone panel and thyroid just basics, I could post them here to take a look? Next for me best would be to wait 6 weeks now since cutting the dose in half and then do blood tests I guess?
Try switching to every other day injections and split the dose accordingly , alongside getting regular follow up blood work with someone. That’s what I would suggest. But also I’m not a doctor so this isn’t medical advice.
Not sure I’ll be able to do every other day pinning atm honestly so few times per week seems tops. Will try this at first but thanks for opinion @cstratton2 Will get blood work in 2 weeks to see whats up then another one in 6-8 weeks. Before getting blood work done it’s like shooting darts in the dark. Anyway, once again appreciate your time and looking forward in doing blood tests then will post here.
Sure thing, if you do subcutaneous shots it’s a lot easier to manage with higher frequency. I would suggest checking out the T replacement forum. A lot of great info and advice you will find there too.
I have read most of what I’m interested in already and continue on the daily basis. I’m doing IM injections so its tough for me as atm don’t have my girl who is a nurse around to help with it. Do you have somewhere to see how to do proper subq injections? Would be awesome to check it out as theres too much info so good source appreciated.
I watched a video from John Criser that shows how to self administer a subcutaneous shot. Basically you’re injecting into the fat instead of muscle, he showed it with a 90 degree angle injection into the lower abs, I rotate each side of my lower abs and my thighs and I use an insulin gauge needle. Theres a lot of videos on youtube and image guides on google and that’s what I used, my doctor also showed me how to do subq injections for my HCG so I had knowledge with that prior as well. It’s really not difficult or complicated though. Just a smaller guage needle administered at a 45 degree or 90 degree angle depending on how deep you are injecting, how much fat, etc. Worst case scenerio it becomes a shallow IM injection. You just need to use smaller gauge needles that have a shorter length. I use a 5/8 31 guage needle, but its a tad too small, trying to get a 30 guage or 29 guage needle, with a 5/8 length when I pick up more needles. Thats what ive done anyhow, but i am not a doctor so its best to follow up with a healthcare professional lol.
Regular insulin needles would work? No such professionals around where I’m at lol I’m sub 10%bf atm so not much fat but going into long offseason now so that will change a bit. Will try and watch his video and if insulin needle would work then would be much easier as you said. I’m from Eastern Europe mate and we do it here oldschool style with long ass needles lmao jokes aside looking forward and thanks once again for all the information and tips. You on TRT as well btw?
So the journey has begun I’ve officially started my long awaited 8-10 month offseason. Lowered my weekly test-e dosage to 125mg split into 2 weekly shots(for now). Will do full blood tests in 6 weeks and share. Be interesting to see how my body responds and how well I’ll be able to put on mass. Current macros ruffly 3600/3700kcal, 200 pro, 500 carbs and 80-90 fats. Doing reverse diet as I’ve been in deficit for more then 4 months and sub 10% bf, more like 8% I’d say. So taking things slow, as drastic changes lead to drastic results. Carbs from 350g up to 500g now. Will be checking scales when back from vacation and managing from there. Have a great weekend everyone and lets get huge!
Today did my first 62.5mg test-e subc injection using regular insulin syringe and needle and it was 100% painless just like @cstratton2 advised. I’ll be doing 2 shots per week for now and see how it goes with full blood tests in 6 weeks time. Total 125mg test per week split into 2 injections subc. Will update here my experience as the TRT journey goes.
No bro, no particular reason, just I’ve been doing 1 weekly shot of 250mg close to 3 years so my plan is to lower dose and increase injection frequency gradually, be patient, do blood tests and see how overall I feel in life and in the gym and manage from there. I never ran no AI, and did HCG last year for a month only. What is your dose man and do you run any AI?
So we pretty much in the same boat so lets see what the future holds for us and hope for the best. Keep me updated how it goes for you, I’ll do the same👊🏽
Little update. Starting to get strange headaches every morning upon waking up and more likely after breakfast. Not sure why thats happening atm. I’m into my second week cutting my weekly test-e dosage in half from 250mg to 125mg and doing two sub-q injections per week 62.5mg each. Only 3rd sub-q shot will be done this evening. Maybe that’s related maybe not I’m not sure and will ride it out till I’m able to do bloods in 6-8 weeks to see where my numbers are at. Anyone else have similar headaches?
During the day I average ~4 liters of water, but in the mornings around 0.5 I guess. Will up the morning upon wakening water to 1 liter and see what happens.
Previous protocol was 250mg test-t once weekly IM injection fwiw.
No AI, HCG or anything else. Cleat diet with one/two cheat meal per week. Veggies, fruits included. Currently in offseason. Hard training 5-6 days/week. Don’t drink, nor smoke. Will try to put as much mass as possible in 8-10 months.
Will continue update as the journey goes. Blood tests in 6-8 weeks time and will share here as well. Any questions, suggestions always welcome.
