Some federations don’t allow that. Not sure about IPL, but at the last WPC meet I did the head judge was talking about that at the rules meeting. It’s only allowed to cover the bottom portion of your hand.
Or you get judges that have seen you hit depth and now are hyper critical of your lack of depth

Have you ever tried going wider stance on squats? Just looking at your technique, that would be the first thing I would want to see in person. Might feel weaker at first but your hips will be able to catch up. Should allow you to stay more upright and keep the weight centered further back over your heels.
Also, I just realized that you’re the guy that posted that 300ish kg pull in your garage, looking forward to seeing how you do on the platform!
I did yesterday by just a little bit. It felt pretty good actually, but I stopped thinking about keeping my upper back tight on my last 2 reps.

176cm, about 5 feet 9 inches
To increase your bench I would follow some of josh bryant training protocol. Seems to work very well for bench and 10 weeks should get you in the 415-420 range if you are not used to that sort of training. Best of luck brotha.
