The lottery is a tax on stupid people.
Thats a quote somewhere…
Just put a couple hundred bucks into aggressive stocks. If you plan on buying a couple hundred worth of lotto tickets, that is.
If it’s 2 bucks and for fun, go have fun.

Tell that to the people who won last night. They might have a different say on the matter.
The guy who bought the ticket at Georgia was a truck driver. Just like someone mentioned here, the guy stopped by the store for a cup of coffee and bought a ticket. Well, he and someone else in New Jersey won the lottery and will split the winnings. The guy in Georgia will take 80 million in one lump sum after taxes and buy a house for his daughter and a boat for himself. Life will be good.

ha i called that, its always the guy who just randomly buys a ticket. if your destined to win the lottery u’ll win it, its never the guy who buys 50 tickets.
Unless you start a coop and each pitch in about 50K.
