Hey Guys, thanks for taking the time to read this.
I’ve been a member of the site for some time now and I’ve asked this question before, but in the wrong forum. I’m pretty new to the T replacement forum, I never really thought I fell in to this category, but reality has finally hit me. I guess I’ll start from the beginning, hope you guys are comfortable.
The first time I discovered I had low test I was about 28, I was around high 200s. My lh & fsh was “normal” according to the doctor, and I had a decent sperm count. I’m sorry I don’t have exact numbers. The reason I had my levels checked was because My wife and I were trying to have a baby. Doctor said I was fine, the issue was with my wife, now ex wife. Fast forward now a year I started seeing a new doctor, had my blood drawn, went back to follow up.
Test came back in the 200s again, lh & fsh again in normal range. Now at this point I wasnt really having any symptoms. A little history about myslef I started weight training when I was about 15. Did my share of cardio too. Started running a lot more though at about 28. I was always a early bird, never really slept much, I could go all day on a couple hours of sleep. So, the doctor sees this and asked if I wanted to try going on test to pick my numbers up.
So, of course I said yes. He gave me a shot of 200mgs and by 9 o’clock that night it was like a fog had lifted. I couldn’t believe how I was feeling.
So now of course if just test alone felt this good, I had to experiment with other things. I did a cycle of deca and anavar, and was injecting up to 600mgs of test.
I felt great! Everything was going good, I had bloodwork done, everything came back normal. Estrogen and liver enzymes were a little high, but that’s it.
So I did about 3 months, then stopped everything. I did some pct, which included clomid. Some times passes by and now I’m starting to feel like crap.
Fatigued, fat around my belly started to increase, irritable, you name it I had it. I already knew what it was, so I did the bloodwork. Numbers were in the high 100s, Doc put me on the test again. 200 mgs every ten days…didn’t help…at all. My strength shot up, but I still felt like crap. I got off of it. I took some time to just see if maybe losing some weight would help, now during this I managed to get my fiancé pregnant, so I guess something works. And yes, she’s my spitting image, so she’s mine.
I go back to my doctor, now he prescribes hcg, 2000 ius three times a week. Now if you haven’t figured it out, he’s no specialist, but he’ll prescribe me anything, so I cant stop going to him. I don’t do the 2000, I do 1000. No difference, now what I noticed during all this is my
testicles never really changed in size, ever! So after a couple weeks I read on here 1000 ius is way too much, so I stop.
So I had my little girl, and six months later, my now wife, is pregnant again. But I still feel like crap, I’m tired by 7. If I train hard I feel like crap afterwards. Still irritable, now Im starting to loose my libido. I’m not sleeping well, had a sleep test done and woke up 23 times in 5hours, the doctor diagnosed it as insomnia. I’m tired of feeling like this and need HELP! My doctors a great guy, but unfortunately now I’m starting to realize he’s not sure of what he’s doing.
I should have put this in the beginning, but heres my info I’m 5’10, 220lbs 36 inch waist. Ive always had a full beard since I was about 15, started getting a lot of body hair around 17. Lost my hair by the time I was 28. I’ve always been a horny bastard up until recently.
My last blood test results were done late February, everything was normal except low test 180. So I tried HCG again, now only dosing 250ius.
I did blood work again while on it to see if there was any progress, I’m waiting on the results.
I APOLOGIZE for the long read, I was all over the place with it. It’s 2am and Im ready for bed. Any help would be greatly appreciated…
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.
