30% Fat Ground Beef

i found some of that crap in the fridge. will my george foreman grill burn ALL of that fat off?

No, it will not.

I don’t even know 70% beef existed. And I thought I was a hot shot for choosing 93% lean beef instead of 90%.

If you are lucky it wont, and besides, most of the fat will run into that little collection tray so you can simply add it back to the beef once you are doing cooking it.

I’ve found 30g of fat per serving with some of my beef. Did you mean that? I always wondered if eating meat like that was hazardous to my health. That seems like an awful lot of saturated fat that I wonder if I ought to avoid.

Jesus Helga there is bulking and then there is bulking. Even the Prof drains his hamburgers.

I also didn’t know you could get 30% mince (although Aus has leaner meat than US). Is that 30% by mass or 30% of energy?

I’ll eat it if you don’t want it.
The cholesterol is good for you.

Ain’t nothing wrong with 30% ground, makes a man STRONG.

ummm i dont want the fat… if u guys didnt understand lol.

Then spend the money and buy quality beef.

lol well. the beef tasted dry with no flavors…haha seem`d like it worked because it left a HUGE puddle of oil behind

Hell yeah, grass fed beef fat tastes just like FlameOut. I lick it off the frying pan

After it’s cooled of course!

Perfect, drain out all the good, hormone regulating, calorie packed fat and be left with boring, dry tasteless beef. Sounds like a good plan to me.

I like to rub mine on my skin to give me that “special” glow of the hunter.

Haha, hasn’t everyone done that before, when they had greasy hands? That is, rub the grease into a dry spot. No, not that “spot”…

In fact, I’ve seen virgin coconut oil double-sold as for either cooking or bodily application. It’s supposed to be good for the complexion.

No kidding. Say “bye” to all the fat-soluble vitamins in the beef as well. I’ll stick with my well-marbled steak and chicken with the skin on, thanks.

Chicken wings. Best food ever. I love chicken skin.

Fat in meat is good for you unless you are eating it with some kind of sugar. It’s a naural P+F combo. Unless you eat it with pie or something you should eat the fatty bits. best bits ever.

that george foreman thingy doesn’t sctually take much fat off at all. that shit you see in the catch is mostly the moisture in the beef. they did an analysis that was presented on here not long ago. the fat, even when made into liquid, is typically a part of teh beef itself and has a harder time being seperated than you think. So you are still getting some fat with it, just no moisture. moisture equals great flavour and texture amigo.

If you don’t want fat then get leaner meat or chicken/tuna with no fat. Using 30% fat beef for a fat free meal is like fixing your car with a tickle-me-ELmo doll. WTF??

It’s called Ground Chuck mate…I would’nt say it’s the best, but a serving once a day won’t kill you, in fact you need saturated fats to promote healthy hormone levels.
