Hi Ellington,
Just wondered what your opinion of 30-10-30 was for muscles that have a very short range of movement (e.g. neck)
Not Ellington, but in my opinion 15-10-15 works better in short range movements. You still accomplish 60 secs of TUT then.
In these circumstances, a 30 sec negative have a tendency to become more of an isometric. Nothing wrong with that, but not a comfortable negative.
If I were to suggest something different, you can always try Jreps/Zone Training in two zones - when dealing with short ranges. Or like I do when in doubt: Apply a regular 3/3 or 4/4 rep tempo.
I agree with Jeff’s response: 15-10-15 works well for short-range movements.
