I took some proper pics but will have to upload them from the digital camera when I get a chance. These were all after one final push which consisted of 3 zero carb days (under 30g). Hopefully I’ll fill out a bit after a few healthy doses of carbs.
3 years? Great work.
You look awesome!

Thanks mate, I’ve gotta say fair play to people such as yourself and all the contest thread prep people, Trent, grizzly, yodaddy and others, timmcbride, stu, Lonnie. I am a good few % away from any of your condition and I still feel like I’ve been through it to get to this point!
And RATTLEHEAD, I was considering entering the men’s health cover comp you entered last year but can’t find details for this year anywhere… Have you heard of anything upcoming?

Nah I haven’t, they always leave it until last min. Last year I expected it to be in June but it ended up being in August or something. You lose another 10lbs MAX you should be a contender for sure!

I will keep an eye out cheers bud
Looking solid and lean!
Rattlehead, how did you get on in that comp? Did you get a call back?

Damn Lemony, you’ve got an awesome physique! I hadn’t ever seen this thread until today and spent some time looking through your progress, very impressive. Thanks for the mention in a previous post also, means a lot being recognized! You should compete soon for sure man, you’ve got more muscle than me haha. Do it to get your feet wet and gain experience, you definitely would be competive. I think too many guys who want to compete keep putting it off waiting until they’re “ready”, and we all know we’ll never view ourselves as being where we want to be haha. Not saying that’s you, but I think you should take the plunge ![]()
Dude this is awesome! Good fricken job, seriously!

Thanks mate I take that as a huge compliment. To be honest I am itching to compete and you’re right, I AM guilty of always thinking “not quite yet, need more mass” but honestly I wouldn’t feel comfortable on stage without bring my legs up some more. I have added some decent mass to them IMO but it will take a good bit more to fit in with the package as a whole. It’s definitely not easy filling out a lanky 6’3" frame, I know you’re tall also so I’m sure you understand.
I’m 27 now and I WILL compete by my 30th birthday ![]()

I second the sentiment that you should compete.
Looking great bud.
As a 6 ft 3 guy myself, it’s really cool to see someone my height who was able to really fill out their frame. Also to remind me that I should continue gaining, since I’m only 210 pounds. As I kind of already knew before seeing this thread, it’s 1. very hard for a tall guy to look filled out and 2. it’s also hard for a taller guy to actually look “fat”, even if they gain a few pounds of fat.
And x3 on the competing idea. I doubt you’ll ever feel your legs are ready lol, it’s one of the curses of being tall.

^undoubtedly! Latest pics show some serious QUALITY work there my friend! Sometimes progress happens at a rate where we don’t fully appreciate how much is actually occurring. I hope these latest pics give you a reason to pat yourself on the back. Stay humble, sure, but also acknowledge serious dedication and effort. Good stuff.

Incredible stuff! Keep it up!
Wow thanks everyone for the positive comments, just so you know I didn’t make this thread for an ego-stroke as I’m aware it may seem. But I’m not going to complain if I get some positive re-enforcement here and there ![]()
In case anyone’s interested, I’m preparing myself for a slow off-season. I’m now 100% convinced that I can add lbm without a need to get as fat as I have previously. I’ll put this to the test in the coming months. And I’m not saying I plan on staying at this level of bf, of course a few lb’s of fat gain is to be expected. But if I can make the next diet a couple of months shorter then I won’t be complaining ![]()
