I just realized you meant Every Day success. I do daily injections and have stated many times it’s been the biggest game changer for me. Even compared to EOD it’s a huge difference. I have zero negative symptoms and my Total T & E2 are twice what most people on TRT are at. I can’t say it’ll help everyone but it definitely helps me in every aspect of TRT. My libido is highest, my energy, wellbeing, water retention, gym mentality, etc are all as good as it gets on daily shots. I went from daily to EOD for about 12 weeks just to see what the difference was. I felt ok on EOD but went back to daily and feel amazing. If nothing else works then try it. Just give it time to work as even simple protocol changes at the same dosage require time (almost 2 months for me but less time for most) before the full effect happens.
This is actually a sign of low E2, not high. I would do just about everything else before I went to daily injections. It helps some guys a lot, for most of us it’s just a hassle with no real up side. Better to stick with one thing for at least six weeks and then see where you’re at.
YES, also i read somewhere that frquent urination could also be low E2 effects. Thats strange because i am not taking AI at all. Also itching and feeling hot all over body and inside(burning skin would say) may be a sign of Hematocrit. So many things could be possible. For now i would just stick with 30mg EOD for atleast 6 weeks and will have my blood test too see where i stand.
Thats great. what’s your protocol now ? Also you had low shbg as well?
SHBG 39.9
I do daily IM 200mg/week. I tried everything (dose & protocol) before going to 200mg daily. It takes me about 8 weeks on any protocol before my body fully adjusted. The most important thing I’ve learned is wait it out and give it enough time before changing anything or you’ll get in a vicious cycle of changing shit too early and never get any relief. Whatever you’re at give it enough time to work.
Whoa! 200mg daily??? I’m kidding. Ive read enough of your posts to know what you mean.
Just wanted to say I enjoy reading your posts in other threads. Always concise and to the point and good wit when necessary.
What time of day do you pin while on daily? I’m on 40mg EOD (actually just bumped to 44mg on my own) and feel pretty good. I’ve contemplated going daily, but not sure I’m disciplined enough to stick with that regiment.
You haven’t spent enough time on these forums, even those who don’t have low SHBG find success on daily injections. You’re more than likely listening to the wrong people or simply haven’t heard from a large enough member base.
Those on daily protocols need a lot less testosterone.
@bcostigan41
I guess you can always try it and see but if you feel pretty good then I’d be hesitant to change anything.
Some of us just convert less. I swear like crazy and pee all night if I sip a little water. Started Trt dissapeared.
Why don’t you consider a diff deliver method. Go to scrotal cream and call it a day. Or follow the last posters advice ![]()
Nice man glad you shared that. For most daily usually works. I know lots of guys just love the rush of libido form a massive shot and feeling the T , and switch back to IM after trying daily and not realizing the same .
Others just don’t feel it. Probably dose is small right ?
@enackers
I do 28.6mg/daily
Oh my god 200? That’s abuse… lol
Hi Everyone. Its been 4 weeks i started TRT. My protocol is 30mg EOD(SubQ). I haven’t felt any noticeable improvemnet, but on the other side same symptoms and unfortunately some new symptoms. Feeling cold at feet like crazy and going pee frequently(continuously for 4 weeks). Also i noticed some irritation on thyroid like something is buring there. I started to notice some black rings around neck and little bit enlarge thyroid i would say. I have blood test coming in 2 weeks and then follow up appoinment. Thanks
You have a thyroid problem and need to seek treatment immediately. Low testosterone and hypothyroidism often overlap. Your levels are close to becoming stable and it appears your thyroid is not able to keep up with demand as TRT attempts to restore metabolic rates.
This experience goes to show you how unreliable TSH is, your TSH wasn’t 2.0> and it’s clear there was a thyroid problem which TRT has exposed. Once you start thyroid medicine, you may no longer be a low SHBG guy.
You can’t mistake that lump with an adam’s apple, it is the thyroid gland swelling.
Thanks systermlord. I totally agree with you, as i have other symptoms as well like constipation, cold feet etc. Can black rings around neck could also related to thyroid issue? My TSH was 2.96 and my doc put my on synthroid and during that time my symptoms resolved but i was taking 1mg Arimidiex daily at the same time. Due to estrogen crash i was feeling worst. Then my doc stopped the thyoid med. Now i think Trt has made clear that i need to be on thyroid medication.
What was the reasoning for your doctor stopping thyroid medicine? Any doctor that prescribes that much anastrozole should be replace immediately, those dosing recommendations are for women with breast cancer, not men on TRT.
What are your thyroid lab results?
Google “stop the thyroid madness” and read up. It’s easy to understand there. If you are hypothyroid many folks feel much better on a t4/T3 combo like Armour or Natural Thyroid vs taking T4 only like syththroid.
T4 only medicine is so absolute, there are studies showing more people on synthroid seem to have remaining symptoms and are more likely to be on antidepressants v.s anyone else in the population.
The reason is most people with thyroid problems have conversion issues, they don’t convert T4 to the appropriate free hormones. The only doctors prescribing T4 only treatment are not well informed and end up being the last to know things, like you never prescribe 1mg anastrozole daily.
This doctor is nothing but trouble and is basically useless because he stopped researching and learning years ago and is now irrelevant.
Yeah my dad was on synthroid for years until I found that website trying to figure out my own issues and I found out he should be on a t4/T3 combo. He was reluctant for the first 6 months to even mention it to his doctor. He finally did and complained that on syththroid he either felt nothing or felt too jacked up so they put him on Armour. He is like a new person now. He lost 40 lbs over 6 months and has clean energy.
He stopped synthroid, becasue i was feeling worst. So instead of stopping arimidex he told me to stop synthyroid. I didnt knew much about these things that time. But now aftering research on these topics it made me realise what wrong i have done with my body. Taking arimidiex 1mg daily for almost 3 years.
