Agreed with everybody. You need testosterone. You need to get rid of thr AI NOW and never take it again. Your doctor is incompetent.
Thanks for the help guys. I stopped arimidex and already feeling better than before. But still i have low testosterone symptoms. Do you think if i am primary or secondary according to the results. As i never did TRT and was only taking Arimidex & Synthroid for sometimes. So all fluctatuation in testosterone was due to that medications. Also should i try Clomid or Tamoxifen restart (I am 27 years old) or go directly for TRT. Will appreciate any help.
Tamoxifen makes more sense if you want to run a restart, although Clomid also works for those that a restart works for.
Perfect Thanks ![]()
Also please can you tell by looking at blood test results, that if it looks like primary or secondary hypogonadism
I’m not a doctor, but I wold say secondary. Your LH is only mid-range, so your pituitary isn’t trying particularly hard to up the production.
Hi Everyone. Today i finally met with my doctor and he prescribed me HCG. He said to try it for 3 months and will go from there depending how i would feel.
Following is my protocol.
2000 u. SC 3 Times/week for 3 months.
Syringe Insulin 1 ml.
Also i talked about clomid & he told me that they dont sell it anymore in Canada. Kindly anyone can suggest if dose is good. Also wants to give any advise on that protcocol. I will really appreciate that. Thanks
Is this 2000ius 3x per per week or split 3x per week? If the former it is too much unless you are trying to force the leydig cells to step it up a notch. If we are looking to use HCG mono theory as an alternative to TRT, then it is excessive.
Standard dosing is 100-150 daily, 250-300 EOD and 400-500 twice weekly. The smaller more frequent dosing is the same concept as TRT, to decrease estrogen.
Hi Systemlord. It’s 2000u 3 times a week, so total would be 6000u per week. I also thought that was high dose as well. So i have prescription for 10,000iu. So starting with 250u EOD would be good idea? as i will be self injecting.
This is a good idea.
Hi Everyone. I had very little sign of gyno before, but as I just started HCG monotheraphy this tuesday and has taken only 3 injection of 250u EOD. I start feeling pain behind my left nipple and feeling like gyno getting worse. I have never felt that much pain and swelling before. Also instead of feeling any good, its making me more depress with no sign of improvement. As i walk i can feel my weight on nipples. I know its weird just after few injections, should i stop hcg or adjust dosage etc? I also have arimidiex but just scared to take it as i don’t have very good history with it, Any advice will be appreicated. Thanks
I’ve had gyno twice and there was no pain. Most likely you are retaining water and that’s why your chest looks larger. Give yourself enough time for your body to adjust. When you have gyno in your head you’ll see it regardless of whether it’s there. Even if you truly get gyno (which takes time to happen) you can take tamoxifen and stop/reverse it. That said I doubt hcg is going to be your savior but since you have started it already you need to give yourself enough time to make a conclusion. Most people that I’ve seen on hcg monotherapy end up on TRT though.
Should i try small dosage of Arimidex like 0.125mg with every injection? or 250u is good enough to not use it. You are right about giving it a time, its just i am afraid of getting gyno, as once it developed it’s hard to reverse it.
@swan9021
If caught within 12 months there’s an extremely good chance gyno can be completely reversed. Google gynomastia tamoxifen or raloxifene
I don’t know enough about hcg to give you any good advice except that many on hcg monotherapy come here to bitch about how it sucks. As for arimidex it’s not good for you at all. If you can not take it then don’t. You won’t know that until you give yourself enough time without it to know if you need it.
Hello Everyone. Finally my doctor put me on Testosterone as cost of HCG was killing me almost 400$ for two weeks. He prescribed me100mg enanthate per week. I started with 0.15ml/30mg EOD (SubQ) on August 21 and had my 4 shots already(No Arimidex). So far no positives except i am eating way more and some hair growth on chest and face. Negatives i felt:
.Getting hot so easily like Itching on my scalp and all over body, just wanna rup it so crazy. Feels hot in face as well
. sometimes cold feet and joint pain with frequent urination, going like 2 times within one hour never happened before.
. Feeling of vomiting and like something missing in my throat or thyroid, very hard to explain.I smoke but now it taste me so bad that i just wanna vomit.
. Blurred vision and very much depress(feeling of jaelousy etc, never happened in my life). Anxiety that everyone looking at me and lack of confident(that was before TRT as well)
. No libidio etc but i dont expect that too early.
I would love to have some opinion on my protocol and symtoms. I know its just one week but may be if i am doing something worng. My doc told me one injection per week. But as i have low shbg, so i started EOD by myself. I just started so i am due for blood test start of October. I would appreaciate any advice.
Thanks
The first 6ish weeks aren’t great. Hang in there and it’ll get better.
Yes it takes time, i am just worried if EOD idea is good or i should stick to normal Protocol E3D 50mg. Also is all these symtoms normal to everyone on first week of TRT. Would love to hear @systemlord opinion as well.
All of these symptoms are high estrogen, high estrogen can affect blood flow in the feet, cause face to be hot and while estrogen is needed for joints, too much can be harmful causing stiff joints. High estrogen can wreak havoc on men.
The daily injections will provide better results to EOD and EOD will show better results to twice weekly in men who are sensitive to estrogen. If you want to feel amazing, inject daily, if you want to feel ok, inject EOD and if you want to feel bad, inject twice weekly.
Eventually you’re going to say f*** it, I’m going to inject daily because I’m tired of feeling like sh*t.
The question is will that take 6 months, a year or longer to make that decision. It took me almost a year to get to this point before I was willing to inject daily.
Thanks for your detailed reply. I am really going washroom after every 15 minute now. Its really messing me up. Even without drinking water i am going like crazy. But my nipples have become so smooth now like no water retention also my face as well, before it use to be always swelling. Penis has shrunk really bad, soft as well. I dont mind going to ED injection, but i have searced alot but never find many people with ED success. I am really confuse now, should i lower my dose? or these symptoms would resolve by itself if i give it a time. My feet constantly getting cold. I have arimidex and letrozole with me but dont wanna take it without confirming if its related to estrogen. I would love to have other opinions as well with similar stories. Thanks
It’s going to suck for the first 6 weeks (though it’ll get better as time goes by). The more you obsess about it the more symptoms you’ll come up with. Keep busy. Not much else you can do. Your body has to acclimate to the drug and it takes time. Adding more drugs likely won’t help.
There are many people with ED success. I went from getting 2/3 of an erection to 3/3 but it takes time. Every time you change things it adds more time. Whatever protocol you’re on stick with it so you can know if it’s the right one.
