3 month bloods (opinions appreciated)

Hey guys, first time poster here so I will try to keep this as simple and short as possible. I started TRT 3 months ago and here are my blood results.

I’m not too concerned with the high E2, will lower my test dose. I’m more so concerned about the high free test, as I haven’t read up on that much just yet.
Also, is being on the high end of red blood cell count and hematocrit possibly going to be an issue in the future?

Here is my current dose/frequency.
200mg cyp a week (100mg Sunday morning, 100mg Wednesday evening, blood test was done weds morning, stopped any supplements with biotin 3 days prior.

Switching my dose to 150mg a week, (75x2)
I appreciate any input

I guess I should have added how I’ve been feeling since starting test.
The first few weeks were amazing, I felt young again (36 next month) and my body didn’t ache like it normally does. Energy, mood, libido all improved.

Over the last 4-6 six weeks I sort of started feeling close to how I felt before starting test. Lower energy (nothing crazy) and my body feels about how it did before hand. There might not be much I can do about that, a lot of injuries and surgeries over the years. Mood and libido also dropped a bit

Welcome to the forum.

Were you diagnosed with hypogonadism and put on doctor supervised TRT?

What is the reason for lowering the dose? 3 months isn’t very long for your body to completely adjust to exogenous testosterone.

You’re blood work isn’t all that bad and I would personally be happy with those numbers.
Maybe I would take a very small dose of AI and lower the e2 to see if that improves my mood a bit.

This is normal once the honeymoon phase is over.

I was not diagnosed by a doctor, I jumped the gun and started injections based off how I was feeling. It was the wrong way to go about it and that’s all on me.

I lowered the dose because I didn’t expect my trough to be 1150 and I also wanted to lower my E2 without using an AI. I started at 28% bf so I’m hoping now that I’m closer to 17% and the lower dose, my E2 should go down and hopefully I will feel better.

What’s funny is the honeymoon phase makes perfect sense, I was over exaggerating by saying I feel how I felt before test, because I do feel alot better. But man those first few weeks I felt like Superman

Your gonna have to drop your dose for a few months and see how your blood look then. These really mean nothing now if your changing protocol.

How long do you recommend sticking with the same dose/frequency? I was under the impression that 3 months would be long enough. I appreciate the input, this is a learning experience for me

Three months will be a good indicator. When you start from scratch it will take 4-5 weeks for full blood saturation of the test. Once blood is saturated your body has to get used to that new setpoint and reach it’s new homeostasis. This process takes a few months. Wait a couple weeks for your new dose to be accurate in the body and then get bloods at 3-4 months after that and see where you are at.

Much appreciated. I was going to end up chasing my tail by getting new labs done too soon. I’ll go off feel for now and do expect to feel a bit better if my E2 drops a bit. I don’t have any obvious sides from it, but I am retaining 13lbs more total body water than when i started. I thought that was a little much for just creatine alone

Usually creatine is about 5-7lbs for me. Test will put on a touch of water as well. Your estradiol is not that high. Estrogen will follow test so if test rises so will estrogen. Mines been upwards of 200 in the past. Felt no sides other than erection quality was a bit lacking. If you feel any sides you could take .5mg arimidex once a week or so. I would do nothing right now until you get dialed in for a few months. Nothing is gonna get way out of control in that short time.

That’s good. If it was too high I was expecting to get sensitive nipples before anything. If it doesn’t drop I’ll see about getting an AI. Thank you again
