And also, BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUATS ARE THE MOTHAFUKKIN DEVIL!
^^X2^

Have you tried BSS weighted Over head with DB’s? Roman had me doing these and I felt like a drunk solider just trying to stay upright and not fall on my ass.
My balance is permanently damaged from hypothyroidism. I used to force myself to do things like Bulgarians and anterior reaches because I thought if they were sooooo hard I REALLY needed them. Sadly all I was doing was trying to BALANCE, not really managing to lift anything. My Doc finally told me I shouldn’t bother. The balance isn’t going to improve so YAY MY LIFE!!! Right now my most hated exercise is lying leg curls (hate hate hate) and yes I figure if I hate them so much I must REALLY need them so I keep them.
This is how I feel about all ab/core work.

Hi Busy!

On the single leg front I’m trying pistol squats(to a box right now) but hope to get all the way down eventually. I have a definite strength difference between them. Do you notice a difference?

Yum curry chicken, recipe?

Also was curious about your hernia is it on one side or in the middle? Meaning is it throwing off your lifts at all because one side is hurt and the other is not?
I’ll pm you the recipe

The hernia was between my navel and ribs.

Basically centerline.t

They put in a 4 x 6 inch piece of mesh there.

The consistent pain I get is the upper right corner of the patch.

Use to be where it would stop me in my tracks.

Now it’s just a burning sensation that gets worse as I do military presses.

My legs seem to be equally matched in strength.

Busy glad to see the Stick game going well!
Sorry to see you still have hernia pain, BOO!!

I thought you were doing Indigo?
Thank you Up!

The pain is slowly getting better.

Plus now the scars on my abs are more symmetrical!

Yes I’m on Indigo. I keep two logs and cross post

Thanks, Oleena!

Today I will be lucky to break even at zero.

Beer is a clean carb, right?

I’m at a night club hoping to win a trip to Vegas.

Well, I didn’t win.

Lady Luck was not smiling at me.

Wednesday - 02/08/2012

I essentially took a day off

PLP @ 3

Neutral Grip Pull ups 4 x 2. The burning sensation starts on the 3 rep and increases a lot by the 4th.

As for food

Breakfast - Protein shake + protein bar 60 grams protein, 22 grams carbs.

Lunch - had a lunch “date”. Unbreaded wings (5) and french fries
oh well

Dinner was a repeat of breakfast

2 beers while waiting to find out I did not win anything at the Night Club contest.

Small grilled steak and a microwaved potato to end the day.

What’s your goal for your diet? General health or recomp?

Either way, looking good. I saw you started PLP up again. I got to day 23 before the tendonitis in my wrists and elbows got too bad to continue. Just something to be on the lookout for.

My goal is to no longer be fat.

Increase strength, be a better hockey player.

And to be able to get a date.

I got to day 55 the first time I did PLP.

Ended up being all I did.

I quit from joint pain
LOL
no, Kettlebell Swings are the go-to exercise to help build that precious posterior chain. This exercise will also help build the back, traps, arms, and shoulders.

Here is an instructional video and hope you will join the likes of Lil Power and me.

Yeah I wasn’t familiar with your bench numbers but I thought you had squatted that weight before.

Still you are progressing in the healing. Still counts as progress.

I just watched this. So hilarious! I especially loved the “as if circuit training never existed before the movie 300”. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked if I’m doing crossfit while doing complexes.

Good job on the squatting. Your back was nice and straight and you look like you have good range of motion. The only thing I noticed is that you tend to bend at your knees first, as opposed to the hips.

Your dinner is making me hungry  BTW, I’m proposing a weekly point contest. Check out my log for details.

LMFAO @ CROSSFIT questions. It’s like the go to pickup lone lately too aparently
Some sort of physique compliment followed by ’ do you do crossfit’? I usually say something obnoxious about trying to become the BIGGEST girl IN THE WORLD. which is only kinda lying. On and LOL @ the universe talking to me about ketebell swings nonstop.

Diet looking good Busy
What’s the word on the pain? Is that supposed to improve? What gives? It’s like one thong after another for you jeez. Hope it. Comes to an end

Thank you. I have been trying to improve.

I’ll work on the bend at the hips first.

Back to review the videos from Elitefts

It was from the restaurant/night club where my son works. The owner is the one who runs the Wednesday night hockey I go to.

Took a pic of it. The chicken is under the mushrooms

love me some curry chicken.

and at 185 you are NOT fat. You need to fill out that shape with some dense muscle. Beleive it, understand it and do it or it will haunt you.

The surgeon said the pain is probably from that mesh tack point being right on a nerve.

It has slowly gotten better.

He said don’t be surprised on pains for a year.

lol at your wording, H! “It’s like one thong after another for you”

I wish, lol
