If god is an abstract non-physical concept it would be irrelevant to me. It would mean god doesn’t interact in the physical world, doesn’t answer prayers for instance and therefore making worship of him unnecessary. By and large that concept of god is useless.
If god is indeed physical and operates within the physical world, then that needs to be demonstrated before I believe in a god.

Well that’s because it’s a concept of god many people do believe in. I also can’t for life of me understand the justification for believing god cares so much about human sexual practises.

Okay, your question is in response to something I said yesterday. I was assuming that you had certain beliefs which I may have been WRONG about. If I was wrong then my question/statement was invalid which also makes your question invalid.

So I read this thread a litte and there is one thing that bugs me,that is when people are quoting engineering professor or anything engineering as valid source/expert. There is so much idiots right now in engineering it doesnt mean anything. In a nutshell engineering is science for dumbasses.
