29 Y/O. Horrible ED the Last 12-24 Months. Results Included

Hello guys!

So here’s my story. I did pro hormones 10 years ago during high school. Two three week cycles of superdrol. I always felt fine up until about 18 months ago I stopped being able to get it up and started feeling shitty. I’m normally a very confident guy with a ton going on, I own my own very successful business, and typically have good luck with the ladies. So after failing to get an erection and having very little interest in sex about 18 months ago, my relationship with my current girlfriend dissolved. I went up until about 7 months ago feeling shitty. I eventually talked to a doctor friend and he prescribed me testosterone troches without blood test. I took them for about 2 months. Felt ok sometimes but very unstable levels. In the very beginning the ED and libido got better and I started getting morning erections again. I was soooo thrilled. But then around the 2 month mark I started feeling BAD. I quit taking the troches and let my body stabilize for about 5 months until now. THIS IS WHERE I HAD THE BLOOD TEST, I’ll post the results below. With these test results a hormone doctor prescribed me 25mg climid every 2 days. I felt amazing the first week and I still feel pretty damn good. Been on it for maybe 2 weeks now. But my ED is still completely horrible. I try to get myself an erection to monitor the situation and in the shower it takes me 5 minutes to get 60%. And I lose it immediately.

Recently I met an amazing woman. We have a spark like I’ve never had with any previous girlfriends. We’ve been spending every free moment together but agreed to take it slow so we haven’t gotten sexual yet. I’m very worried when the time comes I’m not going to be able to perform with her. I really can’t afford to lose this girl like I have previous girlfriends when I continually can’t perform. Any advice guys is going to be such a huge help. I’ve seen 4 doctors including a hormone doctor and a ED specialist at a big hospital and they were completely unhelpful. This is literally destroying my quality of life.

Heres my test results before I started the 20mg EOD climid two weeks ago:

Vitamin D is pretty low. I’d supplement that with 5-10k iu a day to get that up in the 60s or more. What are your sleep patterns like? Do you smoke? What is your diet like? How is your blood pressure?

I too had lasting issues with ED and sex drive that seem to be related to prohormones I did years ago. I’ve read a little about it online. Lots of links to PH and screwed up libidos.

I did the old andro poppers, 1AD and M1T. I’m talking at least 10-15 years back.

Super clean diet. 7-8 hours of sleep a night. Blood pressure is spot on. I quit smoking a year ago (light smoker for 7 years). And now I use a nicotine isolate pouch sparingly. I drink 2-3 beers a night.

What did you do? Have you found anything to help??

Sadly enough nothing has worked. I’ve been on different trt protocols but cannnot find arousal.

I just don’t get horny or have much arousal when with my gf. It’s awful. The attraction is there. So is the desire to want to be into it. It’s just the arousal part is missing.

I am just starting hcg to see if it helps.

Do you have any theories whats causing it? Why do you think hcg could help? I’m open for anything at this point. Its gotten so severe over the last year and months…My T is high enough. I feel good. But no erections. Not even a desire to masterbate which Ive never experienced.

Cialis doesnt seem to help. I can only maintain erection a bit better but very difficult if not impossible to get one. I’m going to try HCG, too. I would try anything. I just met the most amazing person of my life, we totally fell for each other and have been spending tons of time with each other and I don’t know what to tell her. We haven’t become romantic yet.

I just found this quote in an article that makes me hopeful for HCG:

HCG

As mentioned before, human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) mimics LH and stimulates the Leydig cells of the testicles to produce testosterone. HCG has been successfully used alone or in combination with testosterone replacement to normalize testicular size after long term anabolic steroid or testosterone use. It has also anecdotally helped men whose sexual drive does not improve on testosterone replacement alone. No published studies have been done on this benefit, however. Doses of 250-500 IU twice a week while on testosterone replacement are being prescribed by several physicians who report that their patients perceive improvements in sexual desire and erectile function on this regimen. We do not know if this effect lasts after long term HCG use or if it is better to cycle it on and off.

I’ve been like this for 20 years.

I describe it like this: I have the want to have sex and the attraction. It’s just that when it comes down to it and I start to fool around, my body doesn’t have that arousal response. Weak erection that doesn’t last. No flushed feeling or that push to NEED ago get laid right now. No desire to master bate. Very little feeling in my penis.

I can get my trt protocol to where I feel great except the arousal part. I get morning wood etc. And I’m pretty sure it’s not psychological.

Not sure what’s causing it. I suspect prohormones. Or it’s hereditary.

My thoughts are that there are many LH receptors in the penis and brain. Since I’m secondary I’ve always been low in LH production. And now in trt, it’s at zero of course. Maybe LH activates arousal a bit? Or pregnenolone? Anyway, adding hcg May do something.

Then again, there are many guys who aren’t on hcg and just trt alone and have great arousal.

So really it’s perplexing and difficult to handle because it’s so hard to feel somewhat like a fake around my gf. Viagra helps to some degree.

Right now I just started hcg at 500iu twice a week.

I did have a day or two a few months back when I felt that arousal. It was when I was experimenting with pregnenolone and dhea. I actually HAD to drag my gf into bed for sex. I felt normal for a change.

But it was fleeting.

Try not to give up hope. There have been times I’ve considered just writing off relationships because of this. But I tell myself to just keep going and keep tinkering w my trt protocol.

I don’t know what I’m going to do… this is horrifying. It’s dominating every thought.

Believe me, I know.

I am CONSTANTLY researching this issue. I’ve been looking for a cure for years.

Sounds like you’re not on trt but on just clomid. Correct? Are you going to go the TRT route eventually?

I’m going to try hcg next I think. My T isn’t very low.

I’ve experienced high T and great levels and it hasn’t done anything for my ED. I’ve had my libido through the roof but I still can’t function. On Clomid I’ve been feeling fantastic. Some morning wood, sometimes. Very weak though. After this I’m thinking about committing to a T implant and HCG and seeing what kind of life I can make out of it.

First off, ED can be related a LOT of things. I fought with this issue for a couple of years and nearly lost my marriage over it. Take a fools advice here.

If you really want this relationship to work, you’re going to have to be up front with her about your issue. Don’t let it be a surprise if it happens in the middle of getting into it. A woman will never believe that it’s nothing to do with your attraction to her UNLESS you talk to her about it up front.

This alone can do miracles for you because it takes care of the stigma and pressure of “what if it happens” right off the bat. Believe me when I tell you (and you probably already know this) that when it happens it shatters your confidence and makes matters much worse. It’s a mental spiral that will eventually destroy you. Openness and honesty up front not only shows her your character, but like I said also alleviates some of the pressure from worrying about it if it happens.

Two, prove to her that really are into it by getting really good with your fingers and tongue techniques. I’m not talking about general self help type shit. I mean make it a point to LEARN HER and do the things that make her go boom. Even if you have an off night and can’t do the do, you can still rock the hell out of her world and leave her wanting to come back for more.

That’s the meantime bullshit…For the long term, getting out of your own head is step 1. Step 2 is carefully monitoring your Test and E2 levels over time and treating accordingly. Step 2 doesn’t work unless preceded by step 1.

Anyway, again…a fools advice. Don’t learn these things the hard way. That’s a dead end road brother. FWIW.

Hey man, sorry to hear about your situation. Being totally honest with yourself can you tell me how healthy is the rest of your life? Body, mind, exercise, diet, supplementation, vitamins, stress?

Imo these things play a big part in performance.

If all of the above are good you could try increasing your nitric oxide with pycnogenol (or grape seed extract which is cheaper), plus 3g citrulline malate and 3g AAKG (L-Argenine if cannot get AAKG).
These should boost NO production.

I’m pretty damn healthy! Sleep well. I eat pretty much only organic meat and vegetables. I juice vegetables every morning. I drink a little too much alcohol that’s one vice…but not as much as many of my friends. Maybe 6-7 beers a few nights a week and 0-3 a couple nights. I’m typically a bit stressed out. I started a company 4 years ago that has exploded and now I’m leading the industry in my state. But I don’t feel super stressed so I don’t think that’s the issue?

I will look into those supplements right now. I took arginine last year and noticed it made me wicked sweaty and didn’t help much with erections.

Are you having issues with arousal or libido?

Arousal: bodies response to sexual stimuli. Flushed feeling. Erection. That “blue balls” feeling where you MUST get laid.

Libido: Inate attraction. Desire. Not necessarily a physical reaction but more mental.

Just arousal. I have an extremely high libido.

Same here. Every woman I see half way decent catches my eye for a double take. I just know though, that if it came down to it, I wouldn’t get aroused with her. So disheartening.

I have tried choline and acetylcholine, as I have read that is supposed to help with arousal. Did nothing.

I have also tried dopamine precursors, like tyrosine and mucuna without much help. I did try wellbutrin and that didn’t work either.

I’ve tried pine bark and l arginine and it just made me super sweaty and agro so I quit when I was traveling through Thailand. But I’m thinking about starting the l arginine again because there might have been something there.

I made an appointment today with my naturopath. She’s the only doctor out of the 5 or 6 docs ive seen this year that gives a shit and seems like a real doctor. I’ve never told her about this issue because she’s a beautiful younger lady and I’ve been too embarrassed but I’m gonna spill it to her.

This girl I’ve been seeing, were falling in love crazy intense. But we’re taking it very slow. This morning we were laying around and started kissing on each other and grinding together. No response from my penis whatsoever. After about an hour of talking and kissing and rolling around I got a 50% hardon. We’ve decided to not sleep together yet due to complicated personal issues (she’s dating someone but she’s falling in love with me) so that’s buying me time. We’re both absolutely crazy for each other and she’s the type of girl I think she’s going to understand. I’ll tell her eventually I’m having these issues or let them come up organically.

Until then I’m just going to keep trying to bring my health to a level where my body resets. It doesn’t seem like it will though. I’m on a organic meat and vegetable diet, hard cardio and hard compound weight lifting, I’m doing sensory deprivation tank, just did a cryo freeze tank for the first time, i have intense sauna sessions almost every day, I make a big fresh cold pressed vegetable juice every morning for years. I’m a health fad junkie so maybe I’ll find a trick that resets my endocrine system. I just don’t know what hormone or sensory system is connected to this lack of response? I feel really good. I’m extremely competitive, killing it at business, high libido, just no response once I’m in bed?

I’ll let you know anything I learn.

You sound like my twin.

Competitive people are sometimes anxious ppl. I know me personally, I get anxiety. I often wonder what role it plays in no arousal. Not the anxiety per se, but the underlying neurotransmitters that may be off and causing the anxiety and lack of arousal.

Too much serotonin? I don’t know.
