I am a 26 year old male and am in need of serious health advice. I got my blood tested on 5/16/14 after finally going to a GP with a complaint of trouble with erections, sexual desire and really just caring about anything. During that time I was just about to take the MCAT and studied regularly for about 7 hours a day. For roughly 6 months. Had some OCD issues there. I just didn’t feel right though, I knew I didn’t have balance in my life and figured that was the reason. I had my studying honed in, but rarely made it past staying up till 9:30pm and up around 5:30. I gave up alcohol at that time (never a heavy drinker) cause it always messed up my sleep, but would still go out to bars with friends. I had no desire whatsoever to even hangout, or chase women like I had in my previous years like in college. I thought at the time it was because I was so invested in the test, but after the blood test results I found out I had low T. Anyways, I wanted to post my journey on here and get as much advice as possible. I have a scheduled appointment to see an Endocrinologist on the 17th of this month and want to be as prepared as possible for this appointment. I finally found this forum (been on T-Nation before) and am thankful there is a place with such knowledgeable people and those that want to help.
Here is my relevant health history to look back on.
Played Hockey throughout my life and at the NCAA level; endured 6 documented concussions. Not sure how many I really had and do not have specific dates of the documented, but my body finally told me that it had enough after the last one. Do not play professionally because of this.
While in college was documented twice (both times in the spring) with anemia. Going to contact my campus health department to find out which type of anemia. Never found out the cause. At the time was told to take iron supplements until I felt better.
Otherwise I have no other known disorders or health conditions. Dad is a type 1 diabetic and Mother had breast cancer.

I am worried cause I don’t feel it is right for a 26 year old to first have off the chart low testosterone and then have it go up to “low normal”. When I went to the urologist (separate issue) He said based on the second test that I looked fine and that I probably shouldn’t even see a endo. The big question is that I hadn’t changed anything between the times that I had the test taken, took them both at the same time of day, but ate different meals before the second test (There goes my control). My diet consists of intermittent fasting (leangains approach). I eat whole food. Higher protein diet. I carb cycle and eat higher fat on off days. I lift 4 times a week, upper/lower and lift like an athlete, not a body builder (Conditioning Coach makes my programs). I did notice in the past week that I have been able to get erections, even though they are not rock hard, I have been able to get off. I do not wake up with morning wood, I don’t really have much sensation down there and my desire to chase women is seriously lacking. My desire even to workout isn’t really there either. I am not sure if its depression or what, but I really don’t have a desire to do anything. I also have really dry skin and am always putting lotion on them (live in Northeast) and put more lotion on than when I lived in Arizona. Anyways, I just want to get as much advice as possible so when I see the endo in 8 days I know what to ask. I am worried that they are gonna push me away and tell me that all the tests are fine, even though my symptoms are not.
