25 y/o. Is my LH/FSH Low? Low T, Low SHBG, High TSH, Insulin and Leptin Resistance

I would take the t4 and retake labs to see if it lowers the TSH. It’s very common in the USA to prescribe t4 as first line of treatment. Dose of t4 need to be dialed in.

I did this twice. Once when i first found the disease and I was taking the damn pills for a year… and my TSH was only going up. I start from 25 and get up to 125 (many ppl with much more TSH and Anti-TPO were taking less and improve). Then I stopped and after a while tried again… but same result came after the new lab test.

This is complicated stuff.
How are your adrenals? Check cortisol levels and acth.

I can’t help you any further as my knowledge and experience with this is limited.

So… Let me make clear this all for ya:
T4 pills don’t work.
Metformin pills in East Europe are something you can get yourself even more fucked with.
My pituitary is perfect.
My lh/fsh are low but in normal ranges.
My HDL is very, very low and I know this is bad for testosterone and everything related.
My Insulin is damn high.
My Leptin is damn high.
I have bigger red cells… something related with the size. Dunno. Out of reference ranges
My cortisol is fine
My ACTH is low, but in normal ranges.
My vitamin D is out of range (low).
My vitamin b12 is low, but in normal range.
Triglicerides are high, but in normal range.
My liver has fat, but not something that can cause so much trouble.
Most of my organs were checked and are fine.

Something is fucked up with my fat metabolism.

Fasting glucose?

High. about 7 sugar after the glucose intake. Fasting sugar is about 6 or less. Fasting insulin is 28 (? to 24). All this is bad, but considering my testosterone, my HDL and everything else… doesnt seems to be so bad. Sounds more like secondary issue.

I don’t know what you mean but if glucose is high, in USA measurements that’s usually over 100 , you may be diabetic. Especially if ur insulin is high too. So you ever check your A1c?

I’ve tested that before. Everything that is common in USA is common here also, but I am searching for something uncommon, because my problems don’t have a common solution. They only have common treatment, which is not what I am searching for… I don’t want to treat myself, but to cure myself. It may sound naive, but … Anyway. I don’t have Diabetes. I have Pre-Diabetes. I don’t need insulin injections or anything more than metformin at this point, but our metformin is in very agressive pills… and they can fuck you up. So… I just follow a low sugar diet and avoid high fat. Trying to eat organic… I am living in a small village in East Europe and we have potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers and everything else. My food is OK, my excersise most of the time is OK (but doesnt help). There is something else… i believe. Something uncommon. HDL is a good lead.

If FSH and LH are low normal pituitary isn’t perfect. Low normal isn’t good, I don’t know about you but I prefer to be high normal on thyroid hormones and testosterone. Its common for men with low testosterone to have pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes, I had type 2 and insulin control is improving dramatically the longer I’m on TRT.

I just did MRI and it showed no problems with the gland. Yes… LH and FSH are low, but its not the pituitary to blame. Something else might be the problem. By “perfect” i ment it is fine looking, no adenomas or anything. No primary problems either. TRT will help with insulin stuff, i’m sure… but since my TRT is very fucked up… i though it will be easy to find out why… and this may help me to fix it without TRT… and everything else will get better. That’s what I hope. Help me :frowning: Why is T so low? Glands are all fine. Tell me more about HDL if you know something. Mine is extremely low.
